Im glad to see that Dr. Fowler is getting more patients...he is good and needs to up his clientele anyways....but he did say he is getting busy and may be hiring an asst. surgeon to help him..good luck guys!

hi, i too went to the information seminar last week wednesday. i'm from hilo, and since i was going to end up being there overnight anyway, i made my consult for the very next day. i called back on tuesday to see if they heard anything back from the insurance and was told that they were sending out the letters to insurance from all patients seen last week. i got my call this morning letting me know i got APPROVED!!! yay......i'm so happy. just gotta make my appointments to see the specialists. and dr. fowler IS very nice. i felt very comfortable with him...good luck on your journey

I also went to the seminar last week and have just confirmed my appointment with Dr. Fowler for October 30th. Looks like we'll be on the same schedule!
I live in Kona and am hoping to have lap band surgery before the holidays.

Great -- Thank you! Now I have two names for a possible PCP. I will call them both today and see if I can get an appointment with one of them! Hopefully soon, I will be able to get a referral. Thank you!

I just wanted to thank you guys for answering all my questions and to let you know that I got an appt to see Dr Fowler but not until October 30th.
I went to the seminar a week or ago. Your stories and information have been so helpful.

I don't know why I didn't just post it earlier. sorry about that it has been a stressful day. His name is Scott Miscovich. He is located in Kaneohe at the American Savings Bank Building. HE is great and I know he is taking new patients. I wish you well.
