Anyone had Dr VerSteeg as their surgeon?

Just wondering if anyone had Dr VerSteeg as their surgeon and how things went.

I am just starting to find my way around this site.  I am scheduled for surgery with Dr. Ver Steeg on May 27th -- that's 10 days from today!!!!  I found a friend on this site who goes by lady_myst who had Dr Ver Steeg for her surgeon and she speaks very highly of him.  
Where are you at with your process?

Hope your surgery went well. It's tough surgery but a year and a half out. So glad Dr. versteeg was there.
