I am going to be in the DM Register!

Just got a call from a lady from the DM Register, the letter to the editor I wrote (that was published last thursday) she got it, and the editor wants to do a story about myself, and about the other 2 ladies that I work with that have had other surgeries (they both had the stomach banding) anyhow, the lady is coming up either tues or wedn, so then the story will be in there. and you can all say you knew me first, LOL. and love me no matter what!!! hehehe! I hope they will do you justice and not just give you a couple lines in an otherwise negative article! If that happens I have a feeling we will ALL run down to Des Moines and protest! Would you please post that article online for those of us who don't get the Register? Thanks in advance!

That is great! Let us know when it appears so we can buy a paper. My niece did the same thing with the Storm Lake Paper, they had written a negative article so she called them and said that she wanted to tell her side of the story which is very positive, so they printed her story. It really helps if we can get the good also printed.

wel, just got off the phone with her, the writer. she sounds super cool. was taking my words down right on the phone. she is super excited about my whole story, so I dont know what all will be in the paper, but she said she would read the whole article to me over the phone before she sends it in, so I know for sure I am not misrepresented. how cool is that? well, you all will be finding out the truth about my life though! lol. and realize all the **** I have been thru the last few years, but I DID make sure to add that i have great friends on obesityhelp that help me get through this! talk to ya all later!
