Monday-Monday

 Hi Everyone,  I am going to work in a few minutes, so thought I'd drop in and see how everyone is doing.  I got caught in that rain/lightening storm     yesturday & thankfully my girlfriend was home. It come in so fast that I ran the last block, & the wind was horrible. Poor DH he was driving around my "walking route" trying to find me. I called my daughter & told her where I was so he came & got me. I'd only walked 1/2 mi. so DH & I ended up walking again later-total-3 miles!!!!! Woo~Hoo!!!!  Did you do anything special for Fathers day? I called my brother & we remenissed about our Dad.He passed away 6 yrs. ago. My brother has a purple heart from Nam, & has been having health problems. He finally went to VA. & got tests done- he was also affected by agent orange-so I was so glad to hear they know what he is facing/going thru. We casll each other every month & check in. We didn't do anything yesturday- after working Sat.(Dh. came in & put 3 big grills together for us).I made him one of his all time  favorite mac. salad, plus he got a cherry pie ( store bought) so he was happy. Since our girls live away, it was a quiet day for us. Amy got him a lighthouse & card. Our camper & bathroom is in lighthouses, so he was tickled. Whatever you do today, I hope you know that using your tools is important. I have dropped 7 of those 20# so far. It isn't as easy to loose again after you gain,believe me. Stay diligent to your journey & youreself.You are  worth it!

Good morning everyone. I spent an 'ouie' night last night. From the moment I laid down till I got up, I was hurting. I never heard back on anything last week..hope I do today.                                 

Well..initially, Bill said he wanted Mi Amigo's yesterday. Then he changed it to Steak & Ale. What did he ultimately want & us do? Carry out from Church's! LOL! It was 'his' day so I'm more than cool with that. Besides, I like them better than Mi Amigo's!! lol. Then we went home and watched a couple of Netflix..Ratatuille & Lucky Chuck. That made it for a good & peaceful day. Which..makes the pain I had last night even more of a puzzle! Good morning all! Had a very caotic weekend, so glad to be back to work today.  Have meetings tonight so it will be a late night for me. Glad the meetings are only once a month. We went to Summer Heat on Saturday and I got on a ride. I wouldnt have been able to do that this time last summer.  There was an overweight girl trying to get on it when we were and she couldnt squeeze in to sit down and I felt so bad for her. She had to give up and wasnt able to ride. I told my SIL that was me last year. Felt so bad for her. Its probably good she didnt ride it cause it just made me sick feeling. We got hit with the storm last night. The power in my whole town was out for about 4 hours. I had to come up to the ambulance station and unhook the doors and push them up manually so if needed we could get the ambulances out.   That was my weekend. Good morning everyone Spent time with my dad then went to a 1st birthday party ,they played cornhole so i knew my dh was in heaven,he loves that game. I seen family i hadnt seen since christmas and was told over and over how good i looked and hugged and shoulders rubbed(i thought it was only my dh who couldnt keep his hands off me)but no everyone had to touch me,maybe im lucky like a buddha..lol no seriously it was nice i felt like miss america for a while.but my fav aunt passed away 10yrs ago and they keep telling me i look like her and she was loved by everybody.but it does feel good. Today its back to cleaning and getting ready for a yard sale.. Im beginning to get rid of all the clutter. Everyone have a great day. Good morning all.  It is a quiet day here in the hills....at least for now anyway.  Not much planned for us today.  We may go to Spring Mill SP and go swimming, if the weather holds out.  It is sunny now, and the rain from early this AM has gone away.  Hopefully it will stay away long enough for me to get out and get some sun before next week when we all meet at Holiday World! I wouldn't want to blind anyone with my brighter than white legs! LOL This evening, we are going to our friends house and playing cards.  It is now a regular Monday night event. We are having an 8-week poker tournament, and right now I am in 3rd place!  If I can keep up the good cards, and luck of the draw, I will win $1,000!!!!!  I just have to play tight, and not play stupid hands.  Keep your fingers crossed! Just wanted to say hi today since I dont always post much. I worked all weekend and since I dont work much any more, it wears me out the next day I'm like a slug and dont wanna do anything but I'm getting ready to go do my exercises (well I hope cuz i need too lol)  I love to walk outside but for the distance that I walk my little one cant keep up with me and she is to big for a stroller really so the days that I cant go cuz I would have to take her, I have found a dvd called walk away the pounds, it came with 2 balls that you fill with water and use them for wieghts. It has a 1 mile, 2 mile and a 3 mile one on there. I actually really love doing it. She is very encourageing on there and tells you what to do to modify if you aren't able to go as fast or whatever. I would recommend it to anyone, and exspecially for those that aren't really able to get out and do alot of walking. Its by a lady named Leslie Sansone. Then I will do my palities one, which I thought boy this is kinda easy when I was doing them and thought this isn't gonna be doing much for me, but let me tell you the next day I was like wow muscles I didnt even know I had were hurting lol.  Well I hope everybody has a wonderful day.

Good morning everyone. I hope that your Monday is going well. I just can't believe that Bill is back to work this afternoon. When he is on vacation he sometimes drives me nuts but then it seems like I go into bit of a depression when he goes back to work because I miss having him home so much. Who knows? I sure don't understand me at all. lol A friend of ours passed away yesterday. I am going to miss her but she has been so sick. It is a blessing that she is now at peace with God. Her husband is taking it hard and cried when he was talking to Bill. My Bill was kind of surprised by that but Bill is one that he never cries in front of someone. Only when he is alone. He will tell me about it later on but I have never seen him cry in the 20 years that we have been married. I guess that goes back to the myth that "real men" don't cry. Maybe seeing Bob cry about Joan will help him to understand that isan't true. I sure hope so since to me that is not a sign of weakness at all but of real strength. So anyway, we will be going to a funeral on Wednesday morning. I am glad that it is early enough that Bill can go. I am so glad that Joan's boys got home in time to see her too. One lives in Arizona so he had a ways to come.  I have my regular doctor's appointment today. I have dropped another pound as of today so it is now up to 94 pounds. I wonder if she is even going to notice. She is not always as excited about the weight loss as I think she would be. She is a strange one anyway if you ask me. I really want to find another doctor but that is not always an easy one to do. You get so use to going to the same one and then you have to go through so much when you do get another one. It is just a difficult thing to do.  I guess I had better get going. I have some things to do before I have to get ready. I have to leave to go to the doctor before Bill leaves for work. That is a bummer too. I am sending love and big hugs to everyone. I am keeping everyone in prayers and special ones are being said for those who need them. I am so glad that He knows who needs what. That is a BIG job and one that I wouldn't want. lol

Hi everyone!  I had a good weekend, I spent Saturday with my dad instead of Sunday.  We had a good day, usually when I go to his house which is every weekend, he is working, he has his own business.  So I always follow him around like a lost puppy dog just so I can spend some time with him.  But Saturday he did not work!   We went to Danville and ate at the Mayberry Cafe, which was very good!!  Then we walked around the courthouse and he told me stories of him running around that town when he was a kid.  It was a wonderful day!!   Sunday just stayed around the house, I cooked my husband a nice dinner for Fathers day, steak, garlic mashed potatoes and his fav. green bean casserole.  I am enjoying food now before surgery. I am really looking forward to the clothing exchange, I hope to make it.  I am thinking I might have surgery on the 21 or 28th.  I don't have too many clothes to exchange right now since I have not lost any weight yet, but I will bring what I can.  It will be great to meet everyone!!

Mornin' Posse ~ It really is a blue monday for me. The at home job I had is over. He said he wanted someone who knew graphic design more than I did.  Well I TOLD him I didn't know much. OH WELL...hopefully something else comes along soon. Hope y'all are doing okie dokie. To those who were in the flood...prayers are out for you...to those having surgery...Happy Road Trip! and to those who have just joined me on the loser's bench....YEEEEHAAAAAW...HOWDY! I had a couple wow moments this past week...I actually MOWED the back yard!  With a push mower!  woooooooooohoooooooooo  never thought I would do that again cause of my knees! AND --------- I met a GOAL..... drum roll please....... I GOT ON MARK'S MOTORCYCLE AND WE WENT RIDING SATURDAY NIGHT!!!!!!! I was soo excited!  I actually got my leg up and over and got on behind him!  YEEEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAAAAAAW!!!!!!!  We only went a few blocks...but he had never ridden anyone with him...EVER...sooooooo we  have to practice that!  LOL Y'all have a wonderful smiley day and make those nights ROWDY! Hi guys...lonnnnnngggg time no post (for me) LOL...man it's been a crazy year...ok, so for those of you who don't know, I was living in French lick and since last August 2nd...I had my surgery...split with my husband in November, moved to Evansville in Feb. with my boyfriend...married my boyfriend in May :) I LOVE MY KENNY BABE  ... (lost 140lbs in the process of all this) moved to Indianapolis last week and here I am....sooo what does this mean I'm very close to many of you now and can join you for eating out and stuff like that and getting to the clothing exchanges will be a piece of cake!!! yay Right now I'm looking for a job in communications, public relations, graphic design, etc...if anyone knows of any in the indy area, lmk :) i miss posting here...hoping to make it more of a habit with my day...but anyhow....hope everyone had a SUPER father's day weekend....my bday is wednesday I'll be 35yrs old... OMG!!!!!!! how did THAT happen? :( hoping everyone has a great week...and here's a shout out to my girls, lachelle, misty and janene...love you guys!!! hugs everyone Jen :)
