Topic: RE: Dr. Innman for Revision? Sorry so long...
Dr. Mattar is very experienced doing revisions and is an excellent surgeon. It would be worth a visit to him to investigate.
Topic: RE: new physicians assistant at meridian surgical
I have seen both PAs in the office... I found them both to be very pleasant... These were just for follow-ups. I was told I will see Dr. Evanson for my year follow up in November...
Topic: RE: Dr. Innman for Revision? Sorry so long...
I haven't gotten that far yet. I wanted to get on HERE and start asking some questions. Then I was going to research the Docs and pick a couple that I feel comfortable with and talk to them. However, I don't want to be some of her first ones...UHM...while I TOTALLY think she is an awesome surgeon and if it weren't revision I'd be #1 but for this revision I'd like someone that's done a few..ya know?
Topic: Vertical Banded Gastric Bypass
well went to the nut class yesterday, and to my surprise I guess I am having what they call a "vertical banded gastric bypass". I was wooried that is wasnt going to be as affective as the RNY, but i guess they still bypass the stomach and you still have the new pouch and they still bypass part of the small intestine. so pretty much the same.

Topic: RE: Clothing Exchange at Ohio OH Event???
Hi Kim!
Personally, I would not want to give up speakers in favor of a clothing exchange. If we can't have both, I vote for the speakers!

Topic: REMINDER! Columbus Support Group SATURDAY 7/31
Just a reminder, Columbus Bariatrics is having a special Saturday Support group this Saturday, the 31st. This weeks topic is Protein after surgery, and is being hosted by our lovely nut, Andi.
Anybody is welcome to attend. (pre-ops, post ops, family and friends...even if you had your surgery somewhere else!)
Support group starts at 10:30am in the waiting area for Southern Indiana Surgery, located in the building on the right as you turn into the main entrance of Columbus Regional Hospital. There's usually signs as you go in the building.
If you would like to attend support group but can't make it this weekend. Please check out the schedule on the website. http://columbusbariatrics.com/support_groups.html
Hope to see you there!
