Hi. I just want to clarify...you said "I" didnt pay a thing...but then u mentioned they didnt even submit because they knew bcbs doesnt pay. Are u saying you had to pay it all out of pocket and they (insurance) didnt pay a thing? Unfortunately thats what I gather, but I'm hoping...fingers crossed...that I am misunderstanding u. :)

Hi and welcome. I live 2 hrs. away from Tallgrass in Topeka. I have been very happy there. I went to some things in Junction City wt. loss. The people were really nice but just now have started the band surgery. They really didn't support it and all they talked about was RnY I am glad I checked other places and heard some good equal responses on both so I could make a decision that was good for me.

We have blue cross blue shield with our school district. I didn't pay a thing. Tallgrass didn't even submit as they know they pay nothing. There was a man that went in front of the legislature, you might have seen about this. Boy I think it stinks.
Topic: Need a new doc to do fills
Hello! I live in SW MO, but I would be willing to go into SE KS to get fills. My insurance changed and I need a doc in network to do my fills. It is a bummer, because I LOVE my doc in Springfield, but he will cause me to double my deductible if I stay with him. Any suggestions? I really want a doc who does fills under fluro.
THanks,
Sally

I am having trouble getting a response from our insurance company as to wether or not they cover wls and if so what kind, what exclusion policies they have, etc. Does anyone here have bcbsks "blue choice"--ppo that can tell me what they have discovered? good or bad? Your input is greatly appreciated!

Hello! I live in Topeka. I don't know of any docs right around you (I know there are some), but there is also a great bunch here at Tallgrass. It's only about 60 miles away.
I can't imagine how you military folks get used to moving all the time! My hubby wants to move away, but I will admit the thought scares me at times. I am afraid I would have lots of trouble making new friends!!!
