Wanted to say hi to all the Kansans out here.  I had surgery yesterday.  I am doing good.  I slept and slept but am awake now and trying to walk walk walk around the house.  I am looking forward to each day and feeling better.  Yeah,  I think I am on my way.

good luck to you.  I had  my band surgery yesterday.    there are times when i wonder what in the world have I done but then I know I am doing the right thing.  will be thinking about you tomorrow.  Keep us posted. I forgot,  where are you going for surgery??

Well, I am in the final hours before surgery.  I am down to where I said I would be at 390lbs.  I am on clear liquids until midnight and then nothing.  I did the evil bowel prep routine.  Tomorrow morning I will go to the hospital and go to surgery around 10am.  Strangely, I am not apprehensive anymore.  I was pretty crazy the last few days.  My wife told me I was "nesting" because I was putzing around the house working on little projects.  My bag is packed and I am ready to go.
