I tried to add you to my friends list and it won't let me. We met at the Support group meeting for KC Metro.
I know nothing in regards to this support group that you posted about but took the opportunity to get in touch with you.
Have a great weekend.
Denise

I finally got insurance to pay for mine but before I was looking at a Dr. in Colorado. He was $12,000 and the ticket to Colorado was $200. I think so much of the success of the lap band is how much support you get so knowing what I know now, I may try to go with someone local. After my surgery, I've met more than one weight loss surgery patient who's gained it all back or only lost 20-30 pounds. That's like a nightmare to me after all this work and surgery. I go to my supoprt groups and stick with it, I personally think that really helps.
A flex spending account is the best way otherwise the total spending has to be more than 7.5% of your income to qualify for a deduction. So, it depends on how much you make.
