Oh, my gosh!   Totally understand where you are coming from!   I had many sleepless nights prior to my surgery on 8/27.  I did alot of pre-shopping for what I thought I would need immediately after surgery.  I, also, cleaned out my closets to find clothes that were going to fit the "new" me!  It was fun.  If you're anything like me I'm good for clothes for about 4 sizes smaller!! (24, 22, 20 and 18's).  And, so far I'm down 2 sizes!  WAHOOOIE!!!   I also made my husband remind me how good thin was going to feel (right after my surgery, when I was hurting).  I'm only  a month out and I love seeing people who haven't seen me since my surgery and their reactions.  The surgery.....it was nothing compared to what's happened since the wt. started falling off!  Best of luck to you!  You're going to be FABULOUS dahling!  Kschick

I have no advice for you because I have not been there yet.  I hope to though.  I wish you the best of luck.  With any new experience, I am always a bit anxious.  I don't know what to expect even though it has been gone over many times.  I'm sure that is similar to your feelings.  I would look at it as your first major step to one of the most positive life changes you can make.  I'm envious of you.  :)  You'll be in my thoughts.

How did you deal with the last couple of weeks leading up to surgery?  I had a meeting today at the Kansas History Museum and drove past Tallgrass on my way there.  When I saw Tallgrass, my stomach did a flip flop and I realized just how much my nerves are working on me.  My head says this is the right thing to do, but the anticipation, knowing it's coming is getting to me!  Any advice?

Topic: worried about not getting nutrion needed
I keep reading about people not getting the right kind of nutrition after surgery.  I have used Juice Plus for over a year and really think it has made me more healthy.  I have been doing research on how it works for wt. loss surgery.  They say is great.  I think when you consider the cost of fruits and veggies it isn't expensive, and it is scientifically based  that it is absorbed in your body, unlike other vitamins, etc.  It is also made of the best fruits and veggies.  I have signed up as a distributor just to get the cost down a little .  I am not trying to advertise here but I do have a web site where you can purchase if you are interested.  Below is a section on this wt loss about people that are now using it.  I found it to be very interesting.    The protein drinks aren't bad at all.  PM me if you are interested further. http://www.obesityhelp.com/forums/nutrition/a,proddetail/prod_id,1399/

did you do self pay?  How long from Sat. session to surgery?  I am continuing to hear great things about tall grass.  I was ready to go to Overland Park and then heard about Tall grass.  I am so happy I did.  It is much closer.  Wondering about the cost?  I wish I had know as I would have gone to the Sept  sat. meeting so I could have gotten started sooner. good luck.  HOpe you are feeling good and loosing.  I am hoping to not have to miss much work.
