I am a smoker... quitting smoking 6 years ago is what got me in this mess in the first place. anyhow can anyone tell me how long tallgrass Dr's say you have to have quit smoking for before they will do your surgery. i understand from my reading that most learn at seminar mine isn't for 2 weeks. *edit* I finally got a call back, If you are a smoker thy require you to be 30 days nicotine free prior to surgery, but would like you to be smoke free by consult time.

An hour or so from topeka that is the closest... that is why i am finding support online, and with the price of gas not to mention my back can not take the ride that well... i think i'll be able to manage here.. In cyber space there is always someone online wanting to talk... Willing to listen. And i am lucky to have a good support system at home too.
