Hi there! I have several pairs of slacks that still fit loose, but ok. I hope I can hang on for a couple months before buying any slacks/jeans! I have a good sense of humor, as did the ladies who saw me, so it was kind of funny to me, though embarrassing. The best thing to do is be able to laugh at yourself, especially something like this! Hey everyone, I have a 10, 7 and 1 year old. My biggest problem has been finding family friendly recipes and snack ideas. I can across this in my ever growing need to learn all i can. I think it helps to know that these places are recognized by American Society for Bariatrics Surgery. An hour or so from topeka that is the closest... that is why i am finding support online, and with the price of gas not to mention my back can not take the ride that well... i think i'll be able to manage here.. In cyber space there is always someone online wanting to talk... Willing to listen. And i am lucky to have a good support system at home too.

Looking for support online as there is no group in my area.

Hi there! I have not seen many support groups except in Topeka and KC area. I have heard there is one in Hutchinson, but cannot find info on it. Someone is trying to start a group in Wichita, but I haven't heard if it is organized yet. There is supposed to be a group at Solutions for Life in Wichita, but you have to be a member there. Where do you live? Good luck finding a group! LaNeta
