If you know any of the surgeons that are associated with the center I would look the surgeon up and see if anyone has posted about them. I did a quick search and did not find that particular location. I did however find Minimally Invasive Surgery Hospital that is located in Lenxa.

I was there also, sitting in front of the lady that kept coughing, although that wont narrow it down as there were lots of people there. I just got off the phone with them and they said if I get my medical records to them this week it will still probably be december before surgery. I have actually submitted paperwork to three different places, Topeka (where I am from), KC, and LivLite which said it would be october for surgery, they just got a doctor who does the laproscopic lap band versus the others who only do the "open" and i dont want that. The only bad thing is that he has done more RNY's than lap band, dont know if I can go with that, although if he is good at RNY, lap band is easier so......., what do you think?
KC also told me we have to use their psychologist and dietition. I didnt remember that.

I have heard about them seen a few people that have gone there. I know they are having a seminar on Aug. 11th I think. I was thinking about attending the seminar just to compare with the surgeon I have chosen which is Dr. Hornbostel in Sedalia MO. They sure are closer to me then Sedalia but I really like Dr. H too so I don't know and I have an appt. with Dr. H in Oct. I have already turned in all my paperwork and psych. eval. so I don't know. I just thought it would be interesting to go to this seminar and see what it's all about? They have a website. http://www.iabsobesitysurgery.com/index.html good luck in your journey.
