Hi there! I'm not sure where you live in Kansas, or how far away from Sedalia you are, but Dr Hornbostel (sedalia, mo) accepts medicare and it seems like it went pretty quick, also medicare (at this time) does NOT require a 6 mo supervised diet nor does dr H , He is an excellent surgeon, and everyone on the Missouri board that has had him raves! he gives patients a home number and is very easy to get ahold of should you need to, his wife (a nurse ) works with him and is extremely knowledgable also and a great help. Thank you, I'm stil in the hospital. I will be discharged to a hotel tomorrow and hopefully can go home after teh 24th of July. I'm sorry you are not having the results you want. I'm sure the support groups can offer you some helpful suggestions. I chose the more dramatic surgery because i have to lose weight this time. I can't keep losing and gaining over and over again. I'm too old for that lol. So good luck and thanks again for the well wishes.

Kim, it's pretty cool that you and your daughter will be going through this together.  Kind of a mini support group. 

Lets see how many people we can get. And then we can set a time and place for the first meeting.
