hey did you find anyone to do your weight loss surgery i contacted tulane and they take medicaid and i have my first appt. sept 1, 2010 first you need to get your doctor to fax over a referral and then call and get your appt.

i live in arabi (st bernard parish) 10 minutes from downtown new orleans, yet far enough from all the major crimes. i love it here and the schools are good also. there are several trailer parks in the area, as well as the state park campground.

i lived in st charles parish (in ama) before. its nice too!

your first visit you will meet Vanessa she is physician assistant, u will not meet dr bellows until a few weeks before surgery when u go for pre op. Vanessa will explain the band and sleeve procedure, do vital signs...................... then give you a print out with numbers to call to make appt that you need to get approved for surgery..................... a nutrionist visit, a psych visit if u have depression or some other mental health going on, physical therapist for exercises to do to get ready for surgery, and see a cardiologist to see if heart is ok for surgery, sleep study test if u haven't already done that, and a clearance letter from your pcp that he clears you for surgery. Go ahead and send all records pretaining to your weight loss over the past 5 yrs.

when is your first visit mines is september 1 and i'm also curiuos to what will happen my first visit with dr. bellows and how long it take to get approved
