I just did something very bad!

Earlier my hubby made scrambled eggs so i was so hungry and i ate about half an egg scrambled and half a toast but only the inside part that is soft .I am still on my liquid diet im suppose to be on it for another week and a half.Can i get sick from eating too early?that was about 2 hours ago and i feel fine.

Chances are if you are not feeling bad by now you are ok. Sometimes we have to fudge a little cause we starve for something and nothing else satisfies. Just be very careful about doing it. If it was going to bother you too much you would have felt it right after you ate.

I think its a good idea to stay away from anything you have to chew for a while longer.. The thing is you do not want to get any food stuck and end up PBing while you are still in the healing phase. I think if you PB while your stomach is still healing it could affect your band.

Since alot of people are on different routines (like how long on liquied etc) When does one heal? is it one month, 2, 3??? Im still on full liquids,but lately for dinner ive been having a mushy food meal. The rest of the day is shakes, and sometimes yogurt, cottage cheese. Erica

Most people are back onto solids starting 4-5 weeks after surgery, so that seems to be the time surgeons feel that the band is securely healed into place Nancy 394/299/180
