What the heck is happening?
Something weird happened to me today.. I'm still not sure what it was. It started about an hour ago. I was at work, and all the sudden I was feeling a little disoriented, light headed, and dizzy. The top of my head was tingling, I felt really tired, and had a headache. My dad has diabetes, so I was thinking it may have been a low bloodsugar.. I ate the first thing I could see with sugar in it: Girl Scout Cookies. (Don't yell at me!!).. So, I ate those about 40 minutes ago from now and the symptoms haven't really gone away... Then, I had a ringing in my left ear ten minutes ago, and a blind spot in my eye.. I am starting to freak out, and I don't go to the doctor unless I'm dying (no health insurance).. Anyone have any ideas???
This is what I had eaten before the episode:
-Cappuccino Protein Shake for b-fast
-2oz deli roast beef, 2 slices provolone cheese for lunch
-100 calorie pack Oreo Bites for snack
-about 48 oz. water
Another thing could be a new medication? But I started that over a week ago, so I have somewhat ruled that out...
I'm a little scared. :-/

Sounds like the symptoms I used to get before a migraine headache.
I'm not yelling, but Girl Scout cookies are not a good treatment for low blood sugar. A combination of protein and complex carbs is a better solution. Just saying...

The first thing I thought of was a TIA which is a sort of mini stroke. This is something I wouldn't play around with. I don't know your age, whether there's a lot of stress in your life or what, but I would get it checked out.
