Scale VICTORY! Long time coming!!! (pics inside)
Hi Everyone!
I am a big time lurker on OH, visiting this board most days for support and guidance from afar, knowing I'm not alone in this journey really helps. I've posted occassionaly, but am usually in the shadows.
However today I feel the need to come out of the shadows and shout for joy for I am FINALLY in onderland!!! And it feels WONDERFUL!!! I stepped on the scales today, just out of curiosity, as I have been hovering around the 201 mark for a couple of weeks now. And today I weighed in at 198!!! I honestly can not remember the LAST time I weighed this amount - probably just before college.
As you will see from my sugery date, it has taken me a long time to get here - but let's hear it for the turtles in this race! People, it can be done! I am proof of that!
I've attached a couple of pics to show journey...
Pre-surgery; weight, 334lb (this pic was taken approx 3 /4 month before surgery so might even be a few pounds heavier, I avoided the scale like the plague at this stage!) I am on the left
Me today; 26 months post surgery, minus 136lbs
So I just wanted to share my thrill with people who understand it and wish each and everyone of you success on this amazing journey! I want to lose a further 40lbs or so, that figure seems MUCH more realistic now than it did 130-something pounds ago!
Have a great day!

Keep it going
