Phentermine & the band
You're an inspiration to me!!! You lost your band in July and managed to keep the weight off and lose some more?! Good for you!
I lost my band about a month ago and have been able to maintain (and lose a few as well) - but I know the odds are stacked against us!
Thanks for posting your response!
Hugs,
Kristen

Thank you for the kind words. Its been a hell for me since July. I have felt such trauma losing my band. Why did you lose yours if you don't mind me asking? YES - our odds are not so great, but I am DETERMINED. I sure wish I could have a wand and wave it and have $15,000 in my hand to take to my surgeon for a Sleeve surgery! :-)
Its tough - but I stick to my lap band diet and stay under 30g of carbs a day (20 on a good day), and exercise. Lots of water!!!!
Take care and we can do it despite the odds!

I have been taking it for 2 days and am feeling good so far. I am glad to hear that you have lost 16lbs. I hate this stall. I mean I eat less than 1200 cals a day and work out 3 to 5 times a week and still no weight comes off. I sure hope this is what it takes to break my stall.

I hope you get it all figured out. Have you checked you vit levels. I am B1 and D def. I have alot of the sluggish things you have, the hair is def a vit d problem. They are constantly checking my thyroid and nothing shows up. Every woman in my family has a thyroid issue except for me.

They drew blood so we'll see what they find. I haven't had a blood test since before surgery (February 2009) so it's due time anyway! I hope you will keep us posted. Hugs your way. Just a side note - have you ever thought about increasing your cals a little? Starvation mode always got the best of me. I found when I ate about 1000+ 1200 cals I lost quicker, and any less than that I stalled. My hair situation improved as well. I hope you find all of your answers from your blood tests!!!!!! Please keep me/us posted ok? I've thought about you wondering how you are.
