I told my husband that same exact thing...lean protein, veggies and salads. Get used to it. LOL
I'm back from vacay and I'm hitting it HARD at the gym. I need to focus on my goal and keep my eye on the prize!!
Meal plan today...
Early: Coffee with cream
Breakfast: Chili
Snack: Strawberries
Lunch: Tomato Pesto tuna and crackers
Snack: Zone perfect bar
Dinner: Chili

B: oatmeal with protein and peanut butter (I really need to shake this up, but it's too easy)
L; Leftovers: collards, country ham (here I come water weight)
S: hummus and pita chips
D: Trying to get to a baseball game, so likely Chick Fil A sandwhich minus the bun, maybe a few peanuts
Considering the agony my back has me in, best I'll get is the walk from the parking lot to the baseball diamond, whi*****ludes a hill both ways...

Tonight was supposed to be water aerobics but I going to favor out-of-water cardio and weights tonight since TOM arrived (a week early) with a vengeance.

PB'd really hard on my dinner last night. Thats been happening lately. Not just a regular PB, where it comes back easily...this has been awful and after I feel so depleted. I had two small bites (about the size of a lima bean) of flank steak and maybe 2 small mushed broccoli florets. That was agony that lasted about 45 minutes. Oh well...
todays menu is...
E: Coffee w/ cream
B: Special K protein shake (maybe too cold cause it was feeling like it was gonna get stuck)
S: had a couple crackers at my desk
L: turkey chili or soup
D: Shrimp caesar salad
Early: Coffee with creamer and splenda
B: protein shake
L: egg white omelet with cheese and salsa
D: curried turkey lettuce wraps
Workout: 3 mile jog and strength training
Also told the kids that as soon as the rain stopped I would take them for a bike ride around the neighborhood, and the sun is finally shining here in St. Louis, so it looks like a bike ride later this evening.
