Hi MMThanks for your review. I'm sorry you didn't like it in things we DON'T recommend or recommend against. I'm glad we didn't recommend against using it in motor oil!

It's a popular flavor for us...maybe customers mix it in the things we recommend!
the recipes we recommend to customers when they call are:
1) fruit-flavored Crystal Light, especially the Fruit Punch and Orange, and similar flavors
2) sugar-free Jell-O. the recipe is on our website.
3) a small amount in yogurt or cottage cheese

You seem like a condescending ***** I guess I won't be ordering any of your products any time soon.
Won against big bad (SoCal) Kaiser for a Duodenal Switch Haven't heard of DS? Kaiser wants it that way. Come on over & read the truth.
Hit goal (Normal BMI) on 2-10-11! I LOVE my DS!!
My approval process timeline:
02/12/09 - Dr. refused to refer me for WLS
03/03/09 - Vented/whined about it on another board, planned to just wait until next year & switch plans
Let's see what happens!

I liked the chicken flavor - decided that I'd save one or two of my packets to mix with the canned chicken stock for post op. It was one of my first sample packets of anything protein. It was kind of bland at 130 degrees though... just seemed like...eh. It was kind of a warmish day when I tried it so I'm glad it wasn't piping hot. But I don't see it as a "comforting" kinda thing on a cold winter day.
But I have a question...it's hopefully a neutral one...
How do you know, unless you BUY protein products, if you can tolerate them.
And, do you use just a little bit of the mix (say a tablespoon of product to a 1/4 cup of milk/water/your drink here) to see if the taste will be do able?
Like, I have this huge tub of Nectar vanilla that no matter what I mix with..it's just not, I can't make it taste good so I keep adding fruit and just suck it up. It doesn't taste "bad" per se but it just tastes..I dunno. I can't make it mine. I can drink Designer Whey with milk and ice cubes but not the nectar.
I'm just hoping all of my samples and tubs can be made to drink post surgery.
But for me... I loves me some coffee. Even adding coffee to the vanilla...no go.
Weird how tastes are all different.

I guess it's all just a matter of taste. I like Unjury unflavored. I mix it with Chrystal Lite Pommagranite-Cherry. I also mix it in a bottle that has a small opening so I don't have to smell it. I haven't had any protein that I can't smell so the bottle helps. I tried mixing some in my applesauce once and it was gross so I wouldn't consider ruining my yogurt or cottage cheese with it. But, in the fruity drink, it works well I think. I also like the chocolate in my coffee (the only way I can drink it) and the chicken flavor. I just finished one of those in fact. It's savory and salty which I like.
We all know that there's as many opinions of proteins as there are drinkers of them. I'm glad I have found a couple that work for me. I like Max Protein also.
