Finally.......my band is truly back in business!!

After complete loss of restriction for about 9 months, I finally got a leak repair done 6 weeks ago. Today I went in for my first fill since my repair and my restriction is finally back! I am beyond relieved and so grateful that I was patient with this process and stuck it out despite my frustrations! I have felt sort of like a "lurker" being on the board when my band wasn't working and I wasn't losing any weight. :D

I'm looking forward to getting used to all of my band habits again and all of the changes that comes with "restriction" and all of the great things that come with having my band-buddy.

I am so happy for you being able to get some restriction again, but I wish you had not "felt like a lurker". This forum is for support whether our bands are working or not, as well as for whether WE are working or not. Many have been in the same boat and know what you have been through. Glad to hear you got your repair and that your back on track.

I imagine that being without it for 9 months it must be like getting it for the first time again. I'm only on my second week having my band and I would be lost without it, I've become so used to doing everything with my band now.. Good Luck..
