THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR YOUR COMMENTS AND SUGGESTIONS!  It's comforting to that I am not the only person who has had this problem.

I've been very careful, and spaced the pills out with lots of water, and even broken the ones up that I can.  The steroids and antibiotics seem to be working some this week.  Hopefully, I will be better when this medicine has ended.

I have never had any issues, I try and take them with food in my stomach or with warm liquid to make sure they dissolve. But I know their are people who do have problems.
Mari  Nothing tastes as good as being thin feels!

I've had to take steroids and antibiotics all the time because I have a lung disease and I've never had a problem with them as long as I drink lots of water. Explain the problem to your surgeon and maybe he will allow it for a short time. Good luck.

If you do crush or cut them into smaller bits, you might be try to put them on a spoon of applesauce or SF pudding.

I was very worried about the lapband because I take 13 meds. each day. I cut everything except the time release capsules in half and just take one at a time with lots of water. No problems! My surgeon was not worried about my prescriptions causing problems. They did suggest the applesauce if I had problems.
