Dr talked me into a fill yesterday and wants me on liquids for 2 days then mushies. So...
E: Coffee w/ cream
B: Special K shake, strawberry. Really good. never tried those.
S: now Im sipping more coffee.
L: Gladiator protein shake
D: Carnation no Sugar Added blended w/ half banana and tsp peanut butter

B: Protein shake w/ skim milk
L: Turkey breast, crackers and light veggie cream cheese spread
S: Oh Yeah! Shake
D: Meatloaf and leftover guacamole

Now you have reason to yell at them all when they bring in bad treats to tempt everyone!

B: Forgot my shake, so I tried one scrambled egg and 2 slices of bacon. Stuck.
L: Forgot my lunch too...hard to come up with food ideas while stuck! LOL
Hopefully they have the good fresh salsa in the cafeteria today to mix w/ hummus.
D: Class tonight...midterms. Most likely grab some trail mix or something on break.
Just didnt plan for today but I'll do my best.

So just for fun, the only book I have in front of me is my baking and pastry fundamentals book. Thought it would be funny.
Well, what happended? I turn to a page stick my finger on there and have landed on an article titiled "Inspiration-The Zen of Apple Pie"
The line is...

Went on a cruise (last month)
Got my passport and used it! (Cruise and week long trip to Rivera Maya)
Swam with the stingrays!!
Went whale watching in Mass. (AWESOME! such a good trip we stayed an extra hour and the tour guides went on and on about how unusual our time was)
Visited Salem, Ma...wow.
Rode a roller coaster...never a friggingain!
Currently living one dream:
Attending Culinary School
Wow, there is so much more...just cant wrap my head around everything now.

How about making a list? Im a big list maker. Even put small things on there. As you cross them off you can see the things you have accomplished.
Im a worrier too, so that didnt help any, I was worried about making sure I had everything ready to go...but I practically ran into the hospital. I was SO ready to have my surgery.

None of my symptoms are constant/consistent. I have noticed that in the past two weeks or so, that 3 times I have PB'd, but hasnt been normal...its been more of a PB followed by more of a regular vomiting...no bile or anything though.
Im just falling apart! LOL



Pretty much anything you bake as a casserole should work in there...and bake faster too.

I went to pick up my CD and attached was the findings report. The report says there is a possible slip and hiatal hernia.
Could I have been fooling myself this whole time? I thought any PB or problem I was having was something I had brought on myself. That I must be eating too fast, not chewing enough, that my tightness seems to come and go with the tides. I thought that if I could barely eat once in a while or one meal a day that was just by band being finicky.
I know my doc hasnt seen the video yet, and I have no idea how many band patients the doc that did the UGI sees, but if I have a slip...I kinda feel like Ive been living some kind of reality tv show where someone could jump out and yell..."FOOLED YA!"
I go back on Monday to discuss with my surgeon.

How about Isopure protein drinks? They are a fruity, punch like drink. I know they have the big bottles at GNC, but now I see they have small 6packs at my Rite Aid.

Im not your sounding board for every issue. Differnet family members come to me to tell me what so and so did again or they thing this person are up to this and that. If you have a problem with someone TELL THEM. Im not leading any charges for anyone. Im a Libra people. I just want everyone to be happy and Im not picking sides. Your my family and I love you....you should be lucky to have me around since Im the only one that tries to hold everyone together.

B: Protein shake. I used cold coffee w/ splash of skim to save on cals from all the milk. It was OK.
L: Deli Creatons cracker w/ chicken. These are SOO good. 270 cals/13 g protein. its rotisserie chicken, garden veggie cream cheese and grain crackers with a mini Toblerone. YUM!
S: Oh Yeah! protein drink
D: Didnt get to make my avacado/mango salad last night so Its a good night to make it today.

B: Protein shake, Vanilla and I added 1Tbsp s/f Torani Butter Rum...NUMMY YUMS!
L: hummus w/ fresh salsa, couple small cubes of watermelon and honeydew
S: smaller protein shake
D: Mango Avacado salad and leftover chicken

E: Coffee w/ cream
B: protein shake
L: protein shake
D: baked chicken thigh/leg, 1/2 baked potato


B - Fiberone cereal with berries and almond milk
S - Protein Bar
L - Tomato Soup + Cottage Cheese
S - Fiberone bar
D - Chicken soup
W - 90 minutes with trainer

Ive tried phentermine by itself and its OK (IMO) I lost about 9 lbs the first week, but nothing after that. I also was taking the little white pill with the blue specks on there...I think that is a lower dose. When I was taking it as PhenFen I took the capsules.
for me, the insomia wore off after a couple days, but unfortunately the appetite supressant/energizer wore off fast.

I had my surgery in 2009. Im down the 20some pounds in a year. Im just frustrated.


I went to see my dr about maybe getting a revision on Monday. Im just not having success with the band. I eat so much less now than I used to. Anyway, thats a whole 'nother post. My Dr said first things first and Im going for a GI series and full bloodwork in the morning.
Anyway, my question is, could there be something wrong...a complication that I dont notice or feel? Dr says maybe slipped or something. I dont feel that. I feel that Im at perfect restriction.
Just wondering.

B: Coffee w/ cream and popcorn I had at my desk....uh, not a great choice!

L: Chicken Thursday. We've started hitting this rotisserie place by work. I'll get 1/4 dark meat with black beans and veg.
D: Leftover lunch before class.
No snacks tonight. Having UGI and bloodwork tomorrow morning so hopefully I can finish out class and make it home and to bed with nothing else to eat or drink! Cant have anything after 10 and class isnt over until 1030-1045, then a 75 minute drive home.
