No word from Crystal

I called last Wed and Crystal said she was putting my packet together to submit to insurance.  I still have not heard from her.  How long does it take usually?

I would give her a call. They understand how it is for us with the waiting go ahead and call. Or call your ins co. You should be able to get an answer from  one or the other.

I have Fiserv Health.  I was told that they take up to 30 days to approve.

That is okay.  I am having RNY. 

i would definately call crystal to confirm it's been sent to your insurance. after that i would call your insurance daily to see where your case stands. stress to them you need to make work arrangements, child care, etc. so the sooner you know the easier it will be to coordinate other things. once i knew crystal had sent it i bugged the insurance company. she will call immediatley when she knows. she's good about that.

Like the others said - give her a jingle. Even though your insurance says it can be up to 30 days - doesn't mean it will. I have BC/BS of Ga - they say 30 days for approval but it was done in 48 hours.

Michelle,  I have Fiserv also and they told me once it was sent in Fiserv takes about three weeks to make a decision. Do you work for CMMC?  I work for CMH and we both have Fiserv so was just wondering? Kelly
