I would like to know if you have gone home with drains or if that part is over before you leave the hospital.  Freaks me out a little bit....

Aww Kate the drain is really no biggie. Dr Loggins takes it out the day you leave the hospital. If you can ask for Robin to take it out for you she is a pro and does it so fast you don't even know she has done it at all. I had one with my Gall bladder surgery last may and that one I felt. Robin is awesome. Have a great day and try not to be to freaked out .

dr. loggins took mine out the day i went home. couldn't even feel the drain. i rolled around, walked, changed chothes, etc and couldn't feel it. i kept the bulb pinned to my nighty and no problem at all. there was a funny suction feeling when he removed it and that took all of 2 seconds. no pain at all. the spot healed right away too. he put a bandaid patch on it and that was it. simple as that.
