Hey dearies,

Just a quick note before I hit the books again. My sleep technician stopped by yesterday with two different masks for me to try. These just cover the nose and not the whole face. They also have a chin strap to disuade your mouth from opening during sleep. I tried one and it was far more comfortable than the full face mas****pt it on for 3 full hours and no rash...yet! They are really wonderful. They know I have no money and Mainecare won't pay for equipment so all these masks are used (thoroughly cleaned) and given to folks like me for free! And they have let me keep all three until I settle on one that works best and then I can return the other two.

I go to St. Joe's for my titration on Monday night so I should get some good pointers and info there as well. Then my annual physical on Tuesday....sheeesh so many doctors and specialists to see these days.

Have a lovely day. The sun is shining! But it is going to be some cold up on West Hill in Frankfort for our 6am sunrise service tomorrow!

Good luck with the new masks!  I hope you find one that works out better for you!  I am finally getting used to mine. Making through most of the night, usually!  Hope the rash doesn't come back for you either!!!!  Good luck and keep us posted!!   honk!    Don't freeze too much tomorrow!!!!!!!!!

You'll be fine. Your doc will be so happy at how hard you are trying to make changes that will benefit your health. So much better than sitting on the couch with a bag of chips (or in my case) a bowl of ice cream! Honk! Honk!
