we should go for the inside. then if it's crappy we definately have a dry place to play. we can always be outside if the weather is nice. i don't plan to swim.

Lisa the outside is all covered, and on cement slab so it is clean and dry, but inside is fine too, I just don't know what it looks like and if it private like the other one is...

The inside shelter is attached to the outside paviliion. Ever wonder what was behind the doors by the sinks??? It's a huge room and I believe it might have a kitchenette type stove but not positive. My Mom's office rented it once and they all thought it was very nice. The outside shelter is fine too there is a bbq grill, sink, 10 - 12 picnic tables, CLEAN private restrooms too. Both of those weekends work for me!! I'm not even shopping for a swimsuit so that's not an issue here

This is for the summer gathering for all of us and families? They have a campground there? I think I will book the weekend staying there to camp and that way we will be there... 14th is better, just cause it is later and maybe warmer...whatever the cost, what do we do for food. Big groups we usually bring what we want to grill and then a salad or side dish to share- one of the amazing low or no sugar/fat forum recipes/ Paper goods provided for each family...you all have done this before?

I know how hard it will be for everyone up north or way south. if anyone is interested in spending the night, my son probably could set something up, he works at Holiday Inn, front office Manager. so let me know, also, there are many campgrounds close by.
