I would have never thought I could do it...

My daughter's preschool had a chinese auction last night and I did alot of baking for it. I ended up making 54 whoopie pies (regular and peanut butter), 96 cupcakes, 18 loaves of bread, 24 mini pies, 48 brownies, and 76 peanut butter cookies. The funny thing was that I never ate a single one!! The thought never even crossed my mind because I was so disgusted in how much shortning, butter and sugar was in everything.   The other part of the night was that I was a "runner" at the auction. That meant that I went to get items and deliver them to whoever won them over and over again for 2 1/2 hours!! Before I lost this weight I would have been dead in under an hour. I expected to be sore this morning but I feel great not a sore muscle anywhere in my body!!  I just wanted to share, Cheryl

I cheat when I have to bake for a bake sale or something. I make the cupcakes, cookies and bread ahead of time and just defrost and decorate just before I need them.    As far as the haircut goes, I had it cut really short and didn't tell anyone I was going to have it done so when I came home my husband said "What did you do??" and my daughter started to cry. I didn't get a very warm reception to it but they got used to it. I personally like it this short, I've always had long hair and had to fight to keep it out of my face.  Have a great day, Cheryl
