An idea for Thursday

Don't know if anyone would be interested, but I was thinking, since we have the post-surg support group Thursday evening anyways....does anyone want to meet early and walk or talk or whatever?  Maybe we could all go walking at the Bates track.....or meet in the hospital parking garage and hang out like a bunch of gangsta teens...haha   Just a thought since quite a few are coming in from out of town, it might work?!?!  Let me know what you think!    Ruth

mannnnn, if something works out, I would love to. as of right now, my DH has to work till 7:00pm and I have no one to watch my little man.  I will work on something, hopefully can figure something out....maybe my son will be home. what time is the group again?? he usually gets home at 6:00.

Support group is from 7-8p.  Hope to see you there!

Thanks Cindy!  Not sure how much of a motivator I am, but people on OH just keep me going and I love meeting new people!  Not sure where I'd be without all the support I've found here!  I hope we all get to meet at the summer gathering!  hugs and honks! Ruth

i'm going to try really hard to get to this meeting. not sure if i'll get there early but i'll try. if i do i'll post before i leave what time i'll get there.

I will be there not sure if it will be early or not, but I will be at the meeting.  We are also having a clothing exchange at this meeting so everyone bring your outgrown clothes.  LOL.  My husband has lost a ton of weight as well, so I will have a bucket of mens clothes as well.  Can't wait to see you all.  Missi

I am going to try to get there early myself its quite a trip to not get to visit with people very long. Gonna try and get there by 6.

Is the meeting for only people who had Dr. Loggins and who had RNY? When I had my surgery done there wasn't anyone in Lewiston doing it so I had to go to Portland. And of course AFTER Lewiston got some new doctors. I'm not sorry in who I got just the traveling sometimes can be a pain. Linda

Hi Ruth! I will be going to the meeting.  I probably wouldn't be up for walking since I do my exercise at the gym in the am (and have already showered by the meeting time ha ha).  But I would love to meet up early with everyone if I can.  Depends on my moms schedule to see if she can help hubby with the twins bedtime routine.  I could be there 30 minutes early probably. I always park in the parking lot across from Dr. Loggins office (not in the garage) unless it is raining.  I bet we could even go into the conference room early even. It would be great to meet up first since I usually have to go shortly after the meeting....doesn't leave much time for chit chatting!
