Nice to have you here Jen. This is the most supportive board. I know what you mean about some of the other boards being mean sometimes. Usually it is when someone with a different surgery type adds their two cents if you know what I mean. This board it doesn't matter what type of surgery you have had only that you are here to become healthier, and want to share your journey with others. Hope to see you soon.
Thank you, Kathy. That's what I've seen on this board--Lap Banders and Bypassers coming together for a common goal--to lose weight and be healthy whichever way they choose.

I am so glad you are back, Banders are so welcome and needed. I think all of us are just so tickled that we have made the decision to be healthier that love just abounds here. I love the Jenny Craig ads of " a size healthier" and I truly believe that we Mainers GET that. We are a sturdy and pragmatic bunch and know what is TRUE. We are not here to win any beauty contests although...you are all looking "mahvolous". We are here to support each other in our personal goals of health and happiness.movement and longivity.
Oh, by the way, I have lost "a grandgirl" My oldest granddaughter is 70 lbs and I pick her up at least once a week and carry her around to remind myself what I used to do to my knees!! LOL.
