I need some energy.... Is there anything that I can do to get some energy....  I want to go to the gym and to walk and do all kinds of stuff,,,  i just dont have the energy to get there... I know that I will have more when i start losing....  and i want to have this surgery so bad... but my body has never ever been skinny so the drive to be skinny is slim when you dont know what that feels like....  just dont know what to do?  anyone else have this problem?

Jessica, are you depressed?  maybe you should talk to your dr.  sometimes being depressed will cause you to just slee*****t have energy. Of course it might be other stuff too, maybe a vit defficiancy.  talk to dr.  I do get lazy on rainny days, but I have plenty of energy.  Just knowing winter is almost here again, Is depressing me. Damn it!

hey, guys, just remember, whether your skinny or fat, or make money or not, or in a relation**** you will always have sad days,  I dont' want to sound mean, but I have learnned from experience, that sitting and feeling sorrry for your self is just going to make you feel worse, then you will feel guilty on top of everything else.  I have alot of pain, from arthritis to herniated disc's.  and my dr. told me, I was overdooing it, mowing the lawn and stuff, and said I dont want to spend the rest of my life in bed or being a couch potato, so he  said you need to teach yourself to and learn how to do these things, do them in increments, 10 mins at a time, take a break, the best way I learned how to do things, was during commercial breaks,  I now have my DD doing it this way too, she was always complaining she was lazy and had so much work to do.  I said work on commercials.  now she keeps her house work done, and has 3 jobs.  so try it, even if it means running around the house, you might get it done 10 times in one day.  Dance during that time, do a load of wash.  it is amazing how good you feel when your house and stuff is in order.  Have fun, Smile and think about how lucky you are.   Hugs, Cheryl

try extra protein, iron and b12. those will give you extra energy. cut back on the carbs as you will hit a high then a low.

the old saying "just do it" applies here. it's like sex , sometimes we don't want it but once we get going we enjoy ourselves. just get out there and do it. you will release endorphins and that always makes us feel better. exercise gives us energy and is an appetite suppresent.

good luck.

I agree with Lisa and Cheryl!  "Just do it"  haha....really though....make sure you are getting enough protein and eating foods that are lower carb and filled with good nutrients!  Sometimes starting off small with the exercise is a great way to at least start.......break it up into smaller increments!  For me......I have a hard time getting started but once I start exercising..the time flies by and I don't want to stop!  Just gotta dig down deep inside yourself...start slowly and do a little bit...."get the ball rolling" as they say.  Hopefully the rest will come....in time!

I ALSO agree that this rainy weather does ABSOLUTELY nothing for my motivation!  AND, with winter coming!!!!!!!  OMG!!!!!!   It's gonna be rough!  But...we can all support each other and give each other little nudges to keep each other going!

COME ON GUYS AND GALS!  Let's go DO IT!!!!!    Exercise...HERE WE COME!!!!!!!!

Thanks for all you input.... When i had my vitamin levels checked they were all fine... and i get about 100g of protien a day... I have to to get my cals to 1300.  I drink 100oz of water a day.  so its just the motivation I need.  I see you all doing so well and it make me sad that i dont have your will power.. I am also taking  cymbalta.. and trazadone for depression... I am hoping once i have this surgery I wont have to take it....  God bless all you wonderful people.....

ohhh, honey, you got that wrong... we are not "ALL" doing so well.... I'm far from being perfect, I have my weeks as far as being a good exerciser, and have my days as far as my calories .  Don't feel sad, it not something that happends over night, everyone will hit the wall at some point, its not just you.  Keep trying, Rome wasn't built in a day.  I'm here for ya.  Hugs, cheryl
