Sheese - I've been amazed at how many of you responded that you met your partner online - I think that is awesome......tell me where online did you meet?

AOL chatrooms!!!!!!!!  YIKES!!!!!!!!  Had to go through a bunch of losers before I found a "keeper" though!  Gotta be REALLY careful out there!!!!!!!!!

actually after 2 trips to divorce court, getting married AGAIN was the farthest thing from my mind !!  I purposely talked to people from other countries as a sort of "security blanket".  I had only been online for about 5 months when we "met"...that was in August of 2000.  He called me on Christmas Day and told me he had decided to "come to America"...I was like "WHAT ??  Why would you do that ??" 
Anyway, to make a long story short...he got here on the 22nd of January (2001) and we were married on Valentne's Day...(almost) 8 years ago !!  And other than "My Three Sons"...he is the greatest thing that has ever happened to me !! 

So if you're planning on taking the "Online Plunge"...I say "go for it" !!  BUT...
Be Careful !!  There are some real losers and some real weird-o's out there !!

I met my husband from I know this is going to sound tacky but AOL love....which is Match.com I think now. lol.  He was in the army stationed at Ft. Bragg but his family lived up here.  We started talking in May of 2001 and met in July 2001.  We were married in 2004 and have two children.  He was out of the service for a while but is now back in since 2006.  We have been apart the last few years more than we have been together so it's been difficult and I'm really not sure what the outcome is going to be.  I love him but there some things we are dealing with and I'm not sure if they can be fixed.  I'm ok with it and I know my boys are doing alright with just their Mama for now.  I have to say that I think I'm doing a pretty good job raising my kiddos on my own.  I know I have to be strong for them that's one of the reasons why I'm going through this surgery.
