Dh's surgery tomorrow

It's going to be a busy day. Church, last minute house chores and packing. DH is nervous about the forecasted rain/sleet/snow for this evening. He's not nervouse about the surgery just the weather and trael! We're going to drive to Bangor this afternoon and take a room at the RIverside Inn for the night. It's a 1 1/2 Hr drive to Bangor and he doesn't want to drive at 4:30AM tomorrow in the nessy roads.

He's due to be at EMMC at 6:30 for surgery scheduled at 8:15. Unfortunately I won't have internet access while there through Wednesday . I will be there for support group Tuesday.

I will try and contact a buddy here to keep you informed.

So, please keep Sam in your prayers as he goes for RNY w/ Dr. Toder.

Maybe the weather won't get that bad. I think your plan for staying th night will be less stressful.

What an exciting evening, hope he don't have the bowel prep, cause it will be a long drive, better bring a little blue plastic pad for the seats. Best of Luck Sam..... you two will have to take a cruise in a year to flaunt your new bodies, and boogie the night away... yooo hooo!!!

just a lil' FYI...
Herman had his laptop with him and was able to have internet access in the cafeteria area...the newer part off to the right of the regular cafeteria. He got a table with an electric outlet and sat there while I was in surgery...

drive safe and keep us posted as to how everything goes...

No bowel prep with our program, thank heavens. Just nothing after midnight.

Internet in the cafeteria! Yahoo! Gotta grab one more bag- the computer.
