Getting to know youuuuu !!!

A few people from my hs have died this past year.  All 35 or younger.  Growing up in such a small town, it just seems crazy.  It made me just start to think about my life and how I was living it.  I take things WAY too seriously and am always stressed about things I have no control of.  So rather than work extra hard to pay off things that aren't even due yet (I don't know why I do this, but we will get a new vehicle and instead of paying the regular payment for 3 or 5 years whatever it is, I send all my extra $ in so it can get paid off sooner).  But really, what is the point of that.  I never miss a payment and have perfect credit anyways, why strap us so that we can't do anything fun.  I have such a hard time spending money on myself or for things you can't keep (if that makes any sense).  Like why spend $30 going out to dinner when for $30 I could buy x, y or z.

So I decided that I wanted to try to do more things, enjoy friends more, and my family.  I remember the trips I took growing up, but can not remember any toys I just had to have.  With all the weight I have lost it is making the change in myself easier.  I now want to go to places and travel and experience things.

When my boys are all grown and out with families of their own, I want them to be able to "look back" and remember the *fun things* we did as a family...

1.  What is the first few things you usually do when you get up?  Pee, Wake up my daughter and son (if he's going to grammies) then get in the shower, get dressed, then blow dry & curl my hair, eat breakfast & take vitamins, brush teeth, then out the door to drop off my daughter at school and son at grammies then off to work for me.

2. What do you look forward to daily?  4:00 pm. The end of my work day. I hate my job can you tell? lol I'm always looking forward to Fridays at 4:00pm

3. If you won $500.00 today what would you do with it? Hmmm, probably pay bills.

Dori how is Megen doing?  is she back at school yet?

Megans doing great. She only has a little soreness around the port. She's moved to the pureed stage. She's lost 18 pounds since surgery and a total of 35 pounds since she started her journey. She's all back to normal, driving, sleeping, pooping. lol

She goes back to school Sunday the 19th, her classes start back up the 20th. She'll be on pureed foods til the 27th so she'll have to try and make due with the cafateria food til then, then she'll move on to the soft food stage. I think she'll do fine and she's only an hour away, so if she has to come home she can. My mother bought her a blender for Christmas, she'll be able to use that when she goes back. I think she's excited to go back to get to use all those Christmas presents we bought her for her dorm room. She'll go back to work too when she gets back too. She tutors at Jay High School for her work study.

Thank you for all your help. You've helped her a lot. Lots of things I can't tell her because I didn't have the band.

OMG, she is dropping weight like crazy.  that is wonderful she has already lost more then I have and im 8 months out.  Good for her.  she is young and will do wonderful and probably so happy she has done this.  tell her I said hi.  my port was sensitive for 6 months and sore after a fill, expecially a rough one like I had last week.

1.  What is the first few things you usually do when you get up?  Pee, weigh myself, fight with the kids to get them up

2. What do you look forward to daily?  going to the gym (on gym days), the peace and quiet when everyone has left for the day

3. If you won $500.00 today what would you do with it?  I would pay a couple of bills probably (boring, I know).
