How much snow did you get?

Southern Maine must have gotten a lot more than we did...I noticed a lot of closings down there.
Yesterday it began snowing mid afternoon and this morning I woke to 12 inches of fresh snow.  Caribou schools were delayed 1 hour and I didn't see any closings at all.

So I'm wondering.....how much snow did you get where you live?

I estimate that here in Dover Foxcroft we got about 12 inches of snow too.  That is a female measurement, not male...haha.

A female measurement of 12 inches equals about 18 male inches...right?

I"m not sure, didn'****ch the news, DH, DS, DH, DH went out 4 times for snow blow, DH say's was about 14 inch, but not possitive,  all I know is "TOO MUCH".  MLM is out on the back deck shoveling, that's his job, it takes him about 2 hours, but he works very very slow, I give him a break and some cookies.  He loves it, but probably the praise he gets more then anything.  "SO CUTE"...

My daughter used to go to school in Gorham.  It's such a pretty town.
To move her in we had to climb to the 5th floor.  I was out of breath every time and had to rest before making another trip.  I'm so glad I can move more easily now.

I am thinking from what I shoveled we got about 18 if not more. More than I wanted to deal with ha ha. Kids and I had to snowshoe down the driveway for them to get on the bus. Fun fun lol I am glad they had the 2 hour delay or they wouldn't have got to school today.
