Milestone weights

I don't know about others, but I have certain numbers on the scale which bring memories as to when I first or last weighed that number.

There was the "e" on the detecto scale at work - it went up to 300 but I weighed more- the balance beam was slid over to the "e" of the brand name imprinted on the scale. That was my highest, lasted way too long- 1999 to starting WLS program with some diets and yo-yoing thrown in.

165- I was there for a day or 2 in 1985 . Dieted with WW and never got to their goal weight. Gained it all and more back.

There was 242- the highest I'd been at age 26 (1980), prior to giving birth to my 1st, my daughter.

Soon- will come 202. THe 1st time I weighed that number was in the 7th grade after moving to a new town and trying to find comfort in food (1968).

So soon I will weigh less than I did at age 13-14.  I'm 53 now.  Amazing!

I know what you mean.  I still have the dreaded "OL" on my scale at home.  That means overload in case you didn't know...  Well congratulations on hitting another milestone weight loss, and here's to keeping it off forever!!

I can SOOO relate with the milestone weights!   It's amazing to remember when......  I had always wanted to be under 200........now that I'm there...........I can't EVER remember weighing what I weigh now!!!!!  (Maybe in second grade????  who knows!!!!!!!!!)   AND...the BEST part is that keeping the weight off should work........THIS TIME!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats on your weight loss!  You are doing AWESOME!!!!!!!!

Oh yeah....I do it two different ways. I count down weight by age - currently I am at about 4 lbs away from being my lowest weight since my thirties. I also amgoing down from being super morbidly obese - to now "just" overweight - 7 pounds away from being halfway from overweight to normal.
