DETROIT METRO SUPPORT GROUP!!! 1st time!!!!!

I have the date!!!

My first official support group is going to be held 8/16/2008 from 11:00-1:00 at Life Time Fitness in Novi Michigan.

I have recently spoke for OH as a motivational speaker in Detroit, Pittsburgh and will be speaking in LA in October. I am a 3 year post op that lives in Bloomfield MI. I work here at Life Time Fitness in Novi. I just recently was certified with OH as a Michigan support group leader. I am incredibly passionate about building a strong bariatric community here in Michigan.

I encourage everyone who has had WLS or is comtemplating WLS to mark your calendars.  I look forward to meeting each and every one of you.

Is there a fee to attend? Do you need to be a Lifetime Fitness member?

You do not have to be a member of Life Time Fitness...they are hosting the site for us :)

At this point in time there is no fee....please feel free to bring along guests that would be interested. I just need a RSVP!

I am excited.  I was just going on the MI Forum to look for a support group.  What will take place?  Will we just be exercising or will you be speaking too?  I ask because I'm looking for something other than an exercise group.  I am unable to do any excercise at this time.
