Coffee get-togethers question
This may be a dumb question but.....what do you do if you don't like coffee? And you can't handle soda pop? I would like to get together sometime with a group but I have thought, what would I drink? Restaurants wouldn't want me there if I didn't spend money and I would feel a little awkward not doing or drinking or eating anything.
Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions.
You can try hot or cold tea. I know some order a large milk and mix in their own Carnation Instant Breakfast powder.

Don't worry yourself over not buying anything - most of the places these groups meet are just happy to have people there! They're not going to ask you to leave when you're with a bunch of people who ARE drinking coffee! I know at Maple Grove, people bring their own stuff in all the time - we sit in a general area between the Caribou and the deli. I've brought my own yogurt along for breakfast a time or two.
The IMPORTANT thing is that you GO!!! For the support, the friendships, the LAUGHTER! I promise, you won't regret it!
Imperfect does not = unsuccessful
I always have ice tea. I don't like the decaf the coffee shops usually have, the flavors, so I just get regular ice tea. Since not all of them carry splenda, I carry my own supply in my bag.
Others get a pint of milk and sip it or have a yogurt. Have a great day.
