I never saw an update about the 5DPT from people
A few of us decided to give the 5DPT a try this past week...Monday though Friday and i never read anyone's final comments on it. We would have weighed in on Saturday morning to get our final weight.
So i thought I would ask here how everyone did.
I went from 170.4 to 163.6 (but today I am at 164)
I learned so much about myself this week. I craved candy so I knew I had eaten too much before and was going through withdrawal. I also drank more water and added more exercise which really helped me get the ball moving! We have to stay focused to succeed, I guess.
Hey Hon! That was my fault since I forgot to post the 5th day! Things went well for me. I learned TONS!!! It was so refreshing to get back to the basic and get back into control!!! I wasn't doing this so much for the weight but more fo rgetting in control again! THAT was my success!! I am free again!! Now to stay away from evil carbs and grazing and drink more!!

I'm not perfect but I am going to die trying!!!
My 5DPT was totally successful! Since day two I've been no longer craving carbs, and am now (since Saturday) recommitted to my program having mimimum 60 g protein daily which is totally satisfying, allowing lowest carb fresh veggies and aside from strawberries and blueberries, minimal fruit. As of Saturday morning, I'd lost seven pounds, and am so aware of maintaining my weight below 134. Anytime I hit 135, it's back to the 5DPT or Plateau Buster. Am empowered, back in control, looking forward to my two-year surgiversary in July. Hugs galore, Patti
