Looking For Support

Hi Everyone, Well, it's been quite a while since I've been on the Board.,  But when one is excited and scared at the same time, where does one go for help.....to the Board.  So here I am.............. I am scheduled for an abdominoplasty this Friday (the 20th).  I have been experiencing pain, rash and bleeding with the skin rolls in the tummy area.  The only thing that seemed to help was a prescribed steroid.  However, because of my deseased liver, I can't take them any longerr  So here I go.........off to see the wizard...No, No, No,.....it's off to see the plastic surgeon at Fairview-Southdale. Therefore, I am looking for support, jokes, prayers and anything else that's available to take with me on Friday.  Linda Anne will keep you advised on what's happening.....Won't you Linda??? Hey Granny Eileen!!  good grief-you are gonna get a tummy tucking!  I hope it all goes well-I know you have needed this for a while, so I am glad you are finally getting it.  I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers-let us know how it goes when you can. it will make a big difference for you, I bet!!  whooooo-eee!

Oh Lynn..........Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.  I am scared as H _ _ _ l over this one.  Must be my age and of course, my family has not been very supportive of this.  Then it was tough finding a surgeon that has dealt with Medicare over this procedure; but this guy has dealt with them and I have met all the qualifications (plus a couple more) for the tummy tuck.  So here I go..... Hey, who is that cute little one that you are holding?  I knew you were up for being a Grandma; but I didn't know when or what?  Isn't it fun  being a Grandma?  I've always maintained that if I'd know it was going to be that much fun, I would most certainly  have had the grandkids first.  Enjoy them cause the grow up way to fast..... Hugs from one Grandma to another Grandma.......................Yahoo for Grandmas!!!!

My little angel on my avatar is Micah Ethan Daniel Weatherbie-he came along on May 6 and is growing like a little weed!  I totally am in love with my little grandson-I steal him away from his parents any time I can.  It does help that they are living with me...... being a gramma ROCKS!! love you lady-I hope all goes wonderfully we see your smile again at coffee soon!

Maybe I'll keep Linda Anne company on Friday -- I'm soooo happy you are finally getting this taken care of....And I'm gonna be so jealous cause your tummy is going to look and feel great!!!  No more rashes or infections!!!  YEAH!!!   Prayers to you my friend that you finally get the relief you have been looking for!!!
