I tend to go for the protein recipes since most gatherings are lacking protein options, but my new favorite go-to for potlucks is a winner for me since we (meaning DS folks) have to add fats to our foods.

4 containers of button mushrooms
1 pound of butter
2 packets of dry Hidden Valley Ranch dressing

Combine all in a crockpot and cook on low for 3 - 4 hours.

Great tip, Darla - thank you for sharing! I have blueberry lemonade on hand...will have to give that one a try.

I tend to put the flavored coffee syrups in mine - or just a little honey & granola.

Fage is still my favorite brand and I've found the best prices to be Target on those one's.

I'm totally with Farrah on the RTD's from Oh Yeah!

I also love MAX Protein from GNC. Hard to find in Mpls, but if you have any friends in Wisconsin, have them pick you up. It's about $50 for a big 'ol container, but SO worth it!!! The chocolate tastes like chocolate milk and it has none of that yucky whey taste.
It also comes highly recommended by EggFace (www.theworldaccordingtoeggface.com). :-)

I was down 2.6 this week after a reality check last week.  I was not perfect, but getting back to the basics for most of the week made  a huge difference.  Hoping for another nice loss this week- we shall see.  I'm tracking things now and starting exercise back up.  My goal was onederland by the New Year, and I'm close, but won't likely mke it- about 5 pounds to go... happy to be where I'm at though.  :)

Have a great week everyone!

Ditto on what Renae wrote minus the exercise.  (I never did exercise much. Hopefully in the spring I will more. )  Over all I'm not too surprised or disappointed.

Last week: 161
This week: 161.6

I confess, I have NOT been a good girl.  I should have gotten coal and sticks, but instead I got sweets and treats.  And I freely ate them.  Ouch!

Once again, exercise has been my saving grace.  I ran on Friday, then again on Christmas morning, and 5+ miles this morning.  There are toxins in my body that I need to run off, LOL.  Anyway, the exercise has kept me within reason on my weight.  Otherwise, who knows?

Starting weight: 298.4 lbs
Last week: 140.7 lbs
This week: 140.7
No loss, but NO GAIN either

I call that a victory!
