You need to get your labs drawn, if you haven't done that in awhile. It could definitely be vitamin deficiency, or dehydration (are you drinking your water?) or some of each. You can do permanent damage to your body if you dont' keep up with your vitamins!! Go get checked!!
I wish I could help but I'm pre pre op. I do however want to wish you luck figuring out what the problem might be.
Hello, it's been a long time since I posted :)
I have a question and confession. I have been horrible about taking my vitamins, and have been experiencing very bad confusion, lightheadedness.
i know the obvious answer is duh, and call my bariatric office etc. I'm leaning towards a B12 or D thing. Would anyone know if ins. Would still cover a visit to them? ( blue cross )
im 6ish? Years out and lost 145 pounds. I've kept all but 5 of it off.
Any help would be greatly appreciated :)
Sincerely,
Linda Anne

These are Medica's policies for revision. See page 3, middle of the page for the specific reasons they require for all revisions. I would argue for one of these reasons--first taking them to your physician for documentation along the same lines.

Just commenting on your generous offer. I am a volunteer facilitator for our WLS support group and will mention your offer at the Oct 14th meeting in case someone has a need.
I live in the SW area of Minnesota and would love to give away some of my clothes to anyone in need. I have dress shirts and jackets sizes 3X-5X and also have some pants too. Just send me a note.
Ditto what Jen said!
This surgery saved my life, and I think your sister would find it to save hers too. That said, it's a huge change, and something she has to embrace herself. I encourage both of you to join us at coffee, or at least on the FB page. It's a very accepting, supportive group.
I am afraid I don't know much about the insurance situation, since I had full coverage through my work. But the self-pay option in Mexico is possible, and so many (including Jen) have been terrifically successful with it.
Good luck to you and your sister--please feel free to ask any questions!
