Well the honeymoon stage continues:) and I likey:) Every Sunday when I get up and get on the scale I'm always waiting to see it go up once and to my amazement it keeps dropping.
Some more long hours at work the construction season in Mn continues to get busy. Got up yesterday painted the deck and porch, delivered a truckload of mulch, and then went out to the lake to catch dinner. Then went out out busted a move for the first time in awhile minus all the drinks. It was weird to get hit on by some gals that wouldn't of noticed you in the past. Going to get to my first support group meeting Tuesday.

Topic: WOW, bathing suit shopping is kinda fun!
Bathing suit shopping used to be the most demoralizing and depressing thing--remember those days? I used to shop for a bathing suit cover-up first--covering up all the fat was the most important thing. "Slender" suits with tummy control panels and longer skirts or swim shorts--hah! Didn't you used to wish for those modesty swim dresses to come back into style?
I went bathing suit shopping this weekend, because the one I have been wearing for water aerobics since January will not stay on any longer. It was actually fun, because there were so many that looked cute on me--used to be I took the one that looked least awful, LOL. Okay, I'm not going to be wearing a bikini anytime soon, but it was actually fun to shop. :-)

Time for weigh-in again. I stayed the same this week, which I guess is appropriate since I am at goal. But i would like to lose a few more lbs just to have a little "cushion."
Starting weight: 298.4
Last week: 148.0

After you have your surgery the next step will be sitting on the "Loser's Bench" with the rest of us weight loss people. It is just a saying on OH.....not a real bench........we are all Loser's and PROUD of it!!!! See you there....it is a good thing!!!!

I am still struggling too...about 20 pounds.....I figure maybe this is where I am supposed to be. I am not happy about it but I am tired of beating myself up about it. If I lose it fine...if not oh well.
