Welcome Back!!
I TOTALLY agree with everyone else. Gaining 20 does not make you a failure. You are still successful and should still be proud of that!
I too gained back about 20 a year of so back. I just got back down to my "normal" of 160 a couple months ago.
We are here to support not judge, so post away. Let us help you.

Topic: RE: Approved but I have a question...
Thanks Paul....I have been trying to incorporate little changes in my current situation...With two little kids, I find the 20-40 minutes of time for eating is the toughest...It is a fast paced life I have right now so it is alot of grab and go...I know that my tool will definitely let me know that I have not chewed enough and taken my time, so I am focused on that part right now so that when this does happen I will not have to much of an issue...
I called the financial office yesterday and they said that they are waiting for all of my insurance claims to be processed...After they are then, they will clear me so that I can schedule a surgery date...It must be a policy that the hospital has since it is an elective surgery and that people know what to expect their out of pocket to be...I totally understand this but at the same time, I would like to have my date...
They did say that by next week everything will be cleared so at least it is getting close....
I'll keep you posted.....

I finished all of my hoop jumping with company A by Christmas. I changed providers on Jan 1, There were some new requirements of company B that I had to satisfy. I don't remember the exact date of approval of company B, but my surgery was on Feb 22, so it went really fast after approval.
Start learning and using techniques used in your new lifeastyle now. Smaller plate, 20-40 miutes for the meals (eat slower) chew incessantly, no liquids near or with meal. Lose some weight prior to surgery to help your surgeon with your operation. etc.
Enjoy the assist the surgery gives you and be aware it is your need to change (the mental changes) that will ultimately make you successful long term.
