I'm down a bit. I'm not quite maintaining, but it's kind of been two steps forward, one step back lately. Averages out to slowly losing. Better than not losing or consistently being up. I'm a bit worried about putting weight on over my trip... going to try and be reasonable yet have fun, and maybe be a bit more active than I might otherwise have been. We shall see. :) After my trip, hoping to get better about woring out so I can buckle down a bit and get closer to my goal.

Hi all:
Hope you all had a good week in the weight-loss (or maintenance) department. I'm up a bit again, but I didn't run as much last week as I have been. I also managed to get a head cold (again!), which is sapping my energy. Oh well, this too shall pass.
Starting weight: 298.4 lbs
Last week: 138.6 lbs
This week: 140.1
Gain of 1.5 lbs.
I also ate out twice over the weekend--nothing too bad, but I munched on salty tortilla chips last night, I'm sure that didn't help.
Is spring coming?? I sure hope so.

I know that REI carries Moving Comfort and some other brands. I don't know about that particular model, but you can definitely try on there. They also have a lot of good workout clothes.

I am going to buck up and head to the burnsville on next Saturday, if I can rustle myself out of bed that early. :)
Topic: Coffee in Stillwater on Saturday, 3/10?
I'm 4.5 years out from surgery and doing well. I'd like to get together with fellow weight loss surgery patients in Stillwater at the Daily Grind Coffee shop downtown Stillwater on Saturday, 3/10. Anyone interested??
Topic: RE: Support Group South of the River?
I'm not going to the 5k next Saturday, but two or three others from our group will be there.

Thank you Kim! I wasn't able to make it today but will try and get to Burnsville next weekend. Sounds like fun.

Yes! Saturdays between 8:30 and about 10:00 AM. It's a coffee group alternating between the Caribou in the Eagan Byerly's and the Panera at Burnsville Center. It's in Eagan 3/3. Come join us- totally informal and a great bunch of people. Come and go as you are able. :)
