Begging every one to pray

Just got off the phone with Michele. , Jason came over there drunk and high on something she heard him coming and called 911 then grabbed her big butcher knife and met him on the porch and shoved him down with the knife to his neck , ran him off. Tough girl , scared girl  she said the cops have him and he is in jail for assault from the other day. And they also got him with drug stuff on him. Anyway he is in jail for tonight.

She said it took 911 21 minutes to get there . if she hadn’t gotten the upper hand by shoving him off the porch he could have killed her by the time they got there.

She says she don’t think he will ever leave her alone. That as soon as he gets out that he will be back over there. I don’t know what to do. Buy her a gun ? I don’t know what would you all do? She is stubborn she wont move. Said he isnt going to run her off.

I don’t understand that. I would move to another town if I had to …he wouldn’t know where in the world she had moved to…there are a lot of directions she could go so how would he know?

I know I will get a lot of suggestions but remember that we aren’t rich .

I just hope his mom or grandma wont get him out of jail for this , this time.

This makes the 4 time he has been in jail in the last 2 weeks. Hopefully the Judge will take all of that into consideration and set bond so high they cant do anything.

 

 

Oh Lord all of you just pray for a hedge of Angels to surround my daughter and protect her. I don’t know what else to do other than that…..

Should we take her a gun ? what should we do? I really don’t know. Im at a loss

 

OH Gosh Jan!   I am so sorry that she is going through all of this with him.  I will keep her in my prayers.   I don't know what to tell ya about the gun.   I don't like guns, but then, what if he comes & really tries to hurt her?!  I will also pray that the judge sees what is going on & keeps him where he needs to be.    (((HUGS))) Angy

Get her a nice big barking dog that will give her plenty of notice if he comes around, plus it will be scary in the dark, doesn't matter if it is a biter or not, he won't know! a good dog is better than a gun, it gives you warning without worry someone could use it on you if you aren't quick enough or hesitate. Make sure she has really good security locks and a charged cell phone. Have her put up warning signs about the dog around the perimeter of the house , you know "beware of dog". good luck and I will keep you all in my prayers. p.s if she can't have a dog, have her fake it, put up the signs anyway and get a nice recording of viscous sounding dogs barking, if someone pulls in her driveway she doesn't know, play it LOUD! put HUGE bowls on the porch with actual dog food and water.

Jan bless your heart, for the life of me why cant they keep him in jail as he has been caught doing it, do all the things that have been said and buy a gun, he has been warned and caught  but make sure he is coming at her and he is in the house before using it,     your in my prayers, I dont like guns either but there is  self defence, ...vesta

I sure don't know what to tell you about the gun... but you for certain sure you can know I have and will be lifting Michele up to our precious Lord for safety!

I will also pray peace of mind for you... and wisdom to know just what to do!  The word says He has a plan and it's a good plan, I iwill be praying that He will reveal His will in this situation...

I've not experienced anything like this so I don't know what I would do, but I can imagine how scary it is for her as well as her family and friends.  Moving might help but he would probably track her down. 

I don't believe I would consider baiing out either of my sons for such behavior. He needs to be locked up for along tie.

You and your daughter will be in my prayers.

Oh honey :(  this is the same thing that happened to me earlier this year.  I laid on the back door and held him off, all the while he was telling me, "When I get through this door, you have HAD it."  I was laying on it, and calling the police, they got to hear him screaming at me. 

Do you know the police came and told him to leave.  That was it...

Within (5) minutes he was back, he must have only circled the block.  While the police were talking to him, my mom happened to call, and she asked WHY the cops were at my house, remember she lives close by....

MY SON heard what was going on, came racing over and was here, when "MONSTER" showed back up.  He tried to rip the storm door off the hinges, as I was calling 911 again.  Then my sweet boy says, "Monster, can you just leave momma alone...." and that SOB started mouthing to my son !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wanted to kill him with my bare hands, let me tell you.....DO YOU KNOW they didn't arrest him that time EITHER?

Said he had only come back for his meds.... ((rolls eyes))))

Three days later was, much much worse, but I won't go into that just yet. 

She NEEDS to leave where she is, unless she owns the house, being tough only gets you so far.  I KNOW THIS FOR SURE. 

He will NOT STOP, and I never want to scare you, but unfortunately this is the kind of man I attract, and so I feel like I have a LOT of experience with it. :(

Doggone it, sweetie, I knew this jerk was going to be back.  First off, your daughter is one tough cookie but this is sure hard on us mommas.  And it sounds like her angels were sure there for one little girl and a knife to scare him off. 

I was scared to death of handguns so my husband had me take a class so I could understand how they work.  I respect them now but I also understand that if I take mine out and point it at something, I had better be prepared to use it.  No if, ands or buts.  That has to be the mindset of anybody with a gun.  What would scare me more is if she had a gun and was too scared to use it and he got it from her.  That's going to be the question, could she use it?  Knowing what the end result could be?  If there is any question, then no, she probably shouldn't have one because he could get it from her and use it on her first. 

I believe we have the right to defend ourselves but I also realize that we need to be educated and that men can turn into animals in a second.  In my class that was the biggest eye opener for me was to see how fast a man can go from sweet talker to killer.  Scary.  Since I don't know Michelle personally I can't tell you what to do but do know this, I am praying for you and her and praying that you all make the best decision for her.  She's a tough girl, Jan, you're tough, too.  Hang in there and let us know if there is anything else we can do.  Sorry we can't be more help.

Oh man Jan, I sure dont know what to say either about the gun. It would be just her luck something would go very wrong and then she has to pay the price for the SOB. What about self defense classes has  she thought about that. Im not sure what they cost, but I know that our shelter here offers them for doing sevices to help others in the same position that there in.  I agree with the dog, she would as least have some sort of warning that someone was their, at least hopefully enough time to call 911. She is definately in my prayers and yourself as well. The worry thats on you is not good for you either. Please try to get some rest so that you can be there for her as well. Hugs to you and yours.

Special requests prayers coming your way. I still think the tazer gun is the best bet. I believe I would keep zapping him until the help comes. Nothing worse for us moms than our kids be in danger. My heart goes out to you.
