WHATS HAPPENING THURSDAY

Well Wednesday was a really good day wasn’t it? Did you all have rain where you live? we didn’t get any , looked like we would a couple of times but didn’t....

 

I was out working in the yard and Andy came over and was talking and I showed him a big black snake that was out there. Well Andy didn’t want to meet my buddy and kept his distance lol ....i moved the black guy over toward the  guest house . well I thought that was the end of that.... Joe and I were over in the house getting him something to eat and Susan came over all out of breath saying can you all come ....there is a snake and our neighbor lady and her daughter are over there screaming and going crazy....well Joe and I went over with me telling them to please leave the snake alone that he helps keep the rats and mice out of our houses and the rabbit population down in the gardens.....anyway Joe picked him up and took him off to the woods with them all upset at him because he didn’t kill it.  When he got back from the woods , Susan let out a yell and ran into her house saying Andy Andy  hes back, it didn’t dawn on me what she was talking about for a minute lol but it was another big black snake ....crawling toward Andy and Susans car...i got down on my hands and knees and saw he was under the car and when Joe and I started to get him he crawled up into the car. I told Susan he was getting into her car so he could take a ride with her the next time she went to town.  Well with us messing with him the snake would go down and then when we got down there to get him he would crawl back up and hide....finally I ask Andy if he had any heavy gloves he got them and Joe was able to reach down in there  and get hold of him without worrying about if he was going to get bit . lol  so then he took that one off down into the woods too. ....so ended the saga of the  2 or rather 3 black snakes ...wow  im so glad that im not afraid of them , well if it was copperheads or rattlers or cottonmouths I would have been down on my knees looking under a car for a snake lol

And I sure wouldn’t if it was a rat or mouse. Now those are something to hate  they are so so nasty, and I guess that is why I like black snakes because they eat those awful rodents lol so I guess all of us have something that isn’t rational huh?

 

 I have to go to Home Depot or Lowes tomorrow and get some  t-post to take care of our tomatoes. Need something to hold them up soon...then get them in the ground and the tomatoes fastened to them.  We have blooms on them and tiny little tomatoes.  Have lots of squash already and will be ready to do something with them soon. Lol  I planted some okra  too . we need to get the rest of the weeks out tomorrow too.  I think while we are at store we will see what the price is for the little corner things for basebords and that way we don’t have to do any angles  and will go faster but I don’t know they may be so expensive that it will be cheaper to cut angles. Lol

 

 

SUSAN::::::lol here comes the snakes....hope you don’t dream about them ...or Andy either.....Hope you all don’t see any more snakes...im sorry I laughed at you all...just no need to worry about a black snake. I bet  if you could have seen that snakes heart you would have seen who was more scared tho.

 

 

POOH:::::seems weird that your b-12 would be high ...it is a water soluable vit  isn’t it? I don’t think that would be why you would be tired ....

 

You know you do what you have to  with your mom so that you can be at peace with yourself.  Hopefully she will come around too.

 

I have no idea about the lights but do know that the dollar store isn’t the answer. I bought about 10 boxes of them and I think every single one of them had lights out , some worked and som.e didn’t some  half the stran worked and the other half didn’t. I wound up taking all of them back and getting my money back lol  just thought I was going to get a bargain.

 

 

 

PEGGY::::: hope you are feeling better today....eating better, drinking better and it makes us feel better.  Don’t know if it is because we actually do feel better. Or just mentally know we are doing better.

Lol loved your picture words of you and Mark in your home together : he half naked and you dressed and ready for the Klondike  derby  lol such a visual.

 

I know those people you are talking about, didn’t know they all were related to Marks mom lol ...dont those sort of people just chap your butt.? No matter what you have they have had it before the worst case ever , the doctor doesn’t know how they lived thru it lol

 

You take it easy on yourself , you survived the biggest mess that I know I wouldn’t have done. I would have been able to do all of that I know.  You are a lot stronger than I .

Cut yourself some slack you did a wonderful wonderful job. Hope you are able to put it all behind you.  Come down to see me and stay a couple of days ... I will cook you protein soufflés and make you some good home made chicken soup....and you can work in my flower beds lol

 

 

BARB: you can come down with Peggy and you can have some of the soufflés and soup too lol

 

 

ANDY ::::: Joe and I had a really good laugh about it all when we got to the house... it was funny for sure. Lol ...i never knew there was that many people all in one lump that was afraid of snakes.  We need to buy some of that stuff called Snakes away or something like that. You spread it along the propery line and snakes don’t cross it ....dont know if it works but sounds good any way lol.

 

 

LOU::::: I think a lot of people got a lot of rain yesterday.  Way too much. And it all winds up down here in our lake lol

 

I make my own protein coffee –mocha every morning. And it has 30 grams of protein . but I do have to make my own coffee lol ....and isn’t a grab and go drink like your drink is.

Hope you are feeling better. It is bad when we don’t feel good isn’t it.?.take it easy on the tummy and it will heal itself , well hopefully it will.

Wow that is a long time to have to wait on those labs. I got all of the results of mine in just a few days....but like you said that is the military lol

 

So did you try on the new clothes yet??? I think you can wear a lot smaller size than you think you can.

 

Oh wow the trip to Germany sounds wonderful....hope you get  to go....they say it is beautiful place.

 

 

 

 

 

 Good morning everyone. I am going to Germany. We bought the tickets and booked the hotel and rental car last night. So many people in the army get stationed there and in DH's 32 years I never got to go. He went several times but not long enough to move us there. I am looking forward to the trip. I am so happy I can travel without feeling like I am a beached whale. The only problems I have traveling now is having to sit for so long. I wonder if a donut would make it more comfortable?  The kind you sit on and not the kind you eat of course.  I have time to lose a lot more before we go so I will have even less padding on my rear.

I am glad the snakes are down there with you and not me. Lordy it scares me that I could have one in my car. I know there are snakes here but as long as I do not see them I am ok. DH sees them in the yard all the time and won't kill them if they are not poisonous. I hate them all and mice too. I can handle spiders though.

My cold was getting better but now I have drainage and a cough. Not sure if its allergies or not. The cold should be gone now. Feeling yuckie today.

I will have to try on the clothes and see what fits today. It seems like I pull something out everyday that is too big. Guess it means I overbought. I know I buy too much but I can't stop myself. Its kinda like I have to kiss a lot of frogs to find the prince. I buy a lot and end up with a few good pieces. I know I need to work on that. One thing at a time.

Good grief I woke up @2am with sweat just pouring off me and i even had the fan on me.Felt week and dizzy like when your sugar gets low.So i got up came down stairs turned on the air conditioner sat in front of it for 20 min or so, Ate a small piece of s/f choc and felt better in about 10 min.This usually happens during the day but never at night ,kinda scared the heebee jeebees outta me.I was walking like i was drunk it was weird.I haven't been eating much lately but i am getting in my protein and vitamines.I just am not hungry and if i do eat i just feel like ick.So doing protein instead.
Just ordered me more click.Sure wi**** came in bigger container LOL.I use two scoops to a 12 oz bottle of water.It is some good stuff.I drink it twice a day sometimes 3.so usually 90 grams of protein.
Gotta run to wally world in a bit. gotta get Nikki stuff for a sack lunch tomorrow.They are going to visit the collage{sp} in Kirksville.

What a crappy weather day! Its freezing, I'm digging in the closet for a sweater, what the heck!   Is it too much to ask for a few sunny days with no rain?  I feel like an old lady complaining about the weather.  My grandma does that LOL if its sunny its too windy, if we don't get rain we need rain, if it rains it makes us mad LOL.  I need to live in San Diego where its like 75 all year round.  Sounds good to me. ;)  Now to convince my entire family to move there.. NOT going to happen *sigh*  POOH, I'm addicted to Click too.  I've tried to make my own protein coffee, its just not the same.  It tastes so good.  I've been out for about a week.  I ordered some and have been looking on line everyday for the shipping notice.  I nnnnneeeeddd it! ;) I wish you could get it in the HUGE tub too.  I got mine on bodybuilding.com and they have it for 24.95 then there is a coupon for 2.00 off that.  MeltingMama.net always posts the coupons for Click and where you can get it for the best deal. I'm hooked on the OH YEAH wafers too.  they are yummy, like eating a wafer cookie, the peanut butter ones taste like those Reece PB wafer candy bars.   I'm going to lay low today and enjoy some down time.  I have some running around to do and errands.  I have another closing in the am and I'm waiting to hear on an offer, I'm praying we hear today.  My people have a baby and are going to have to move in with the in laws until we can find them a house.  Its making me crazy worrying about it. Well I better get my hair dried and search for the sweater.  I'm going to meet my cousin for lunch.  I hope everyone has a great day! I'm so sick of rain and gloomy days.  I've been off this week.  I painted the kitchen so was hoping I could have the house open.  Well, I did.  No AC needed which is good but some sunshine would be really nice.

The kitchen is painted and I like the color.....red.  I used some Oops paint remover and it really irritated my sinuses.  My throat is itchy and my face feels achey.  I may have to see the doctor for a sinus infection.  I got some Alevert this morning.   Hope it works. 

Jan, I would be just like your friends and neighbors with the snakes.  If it got in my car even if it's not actually IN the car, I would have to walk.  I'm terrified of mice too.  One time I worked with a girl that had a mouse in her car.  That car would have been sitting.  No way could I drive a car knowing a mouse was in there.

Pooh, I do know what you're going thru with your mother.  My mother had colon cancer, I lost a husband to Melanoma cancer and my dad to Prostate cancer.  It's rough but take care of yourself.

I see there are 2 Click lovers here.  I may have mentioned this but I get it from Bariactric Advantage for $24.96 (I thinks that's right) and pay no shipping because I have it shipped regularly.  I get one can a month and limit it to once a day and I only use one scoop.  It's too strong for me using 2 scoops.  Some WLS people frown on
click because it's high in sugar compared to other protein supplements. 

Wi**** was sold locally.  If I was younger, I would attempt to open a store for bariactric patients.  I did buy a can of Pure Protein powder at Target for $17.99 and like it as well as the GNC brand which is way more expensive.

It's very chilly this morning but we are supposed to get sun today.  It's 10:25 and I don't see any sun even peeking out.
