Lab results are in.......I NEED HELP PLEASE

I just got the letter in the mail and thought I would share with you and see what my sisters/brothers think. This is the first labs I have had done since surgery on April 7.

Intact PTH 92.9 pg HIGH
Hemoglobin 5.1%
Vit B1, Whole Blood ARUP 70
Vit D 25 Hydroxy ARUP 25 ng
Zinc 44mcg LOW
Folate RBC ARUP 395 ng

Recommendations: Indicators of your iron status are out of range. My Parathyroid hormone is high which indciates my bones are not getting enough calcium and vit d. My zinc level is low so they say I need to locate a supplment for that.
The scrpit they sent to me reads as follows: Vit D 50,000 iu 2x per week po x 3 month supply.
Does that mean a shot or pills? I get confused on all this.
I can not eat nor drink, Milk, Cottage Cheese or Eggs. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly of help.

My surgeon goes over my labs with me.  I wouldn't know how to interpret these either.  Do they mean you have too much iron or not enough?  All my labs were fine except I need more Vitamin D so I've added 2000 units a day.

I take 2 calcium tables 3 times a day plus the vitamin D.  I also take fish oil and bariactric vitamins. 

I'm not much help but call your doctor's office and ask for details or maybe someone here knows what all the figures mean.

Thanks Jo. They say I am low on Iron, Vit D, Calicum . It sounds like I am a mess. I will call but they will probably only have me talk to the dietician as that is who sent me the letter. I may go and see my primary doc here to see if they can help me.
