on the road again, just crossed into New Mexico , wish we had lots of time would love to go up to some of places that they advertise for this state, it is pretty boreing on interstate 10 we thought about comeing thru the mountains in the north but everyone said that it is a gamble of getting caught in a snow storm up there so some other time. maybe in the summer before we leave...or sometime when we come home on a visit...which we will do but probably not for awhile since we will be trying to get everything done there.

big house or barn is on fire dont know what it is but there is black smoke bellowing up really really high and wide. maybe a barn full of hay or somethihng. , we are in the area where , if you have ever driven interstate 10 in N M. where all the cattle lots are., phewwwwwwyyyyyyyy, but as my dad use to say when we raised cattle, Smells like money ,...lol

well we should be to Tucson by 3 or 4 ....talk to you all later on today maybe....

the permanent visa is for an indefinate length of time ...no not like student visa or anything. after you are there for 3 years you can vote in their elections and everything......if you are over age 65 then you dont have to pay for medication, doctor visits or anything medical.  we just know that if something drastic does happen to social security here we would be really stuck between a rock and a hard place. and our savings would be used up fast with 4oo dollar elect bills and taxes, and insurances....so selling and moving there is a great alternative.....10.00 a month electric bills, 15.00 a YEAR property taxes, gas for truck 1.48 a gallon, and a income producing farm , which hopefully will pay its way plus make enough to pay all expenses....
Shopping in stores like for household items like appliances and things can be done in the larger cities but furniture you can travel to the village that is of wood carvers and they make the most beautiful furniture for so cheap .....you can take them a picture of any headboard for a bed and they can carve you one or build you one just like it. for a fraction of the cost ...for groceries you shop your local food markets held one day a week  .....such good tasting food you have never seen such great stuff. and the bartering system is a great way to get some of what you want too.....if you have an overabundance of something and take it to sell you can trade some of what you have for some of what someone else has lol
lol i was full of questions too till i got there ....it is about like it was here in U.S. about 50 years ago until everyone got so greedy and prices went stupidly high....laid back ,beautiful people,

what we need is a miracle but we know our God is in the miracle business dont we....so lets all pray for a miracle. Hes done it before he can do it again. I wish some of us could be there with them.....I know it is hard for Bec to ask for help but hopefully she can and will..

Dont forget to pray for Brenda too.....she is making small progressess but still has a long long way to go.....So our Lord is going to be busy listening to all of us.....

Jan,
I am so excited for you and Joe.  I just dont think I could pack up and move out of the country like that.  It does sound beautiful tho.  How does that work with Medicaire insurance and all?  Do they cover if you have dr.. visits etc?  You can tell I never have traveled abroad.  and you said you had to get a permanent visa, is that for a certain period of time like the students do.
So sad about Paul.  will surely keep them in our prayers.  what are the stores like there or will you shop on line?  gee, I am full of questions.  colette

Debbie,Please let them know that they are in my prayers and in my heart.
They both are very WONDERFUL people. I have never met the girls but if they are anything like their parents, they gotta be fantastic.
If there is ANYTHING I can do please let me know.
