I know I am not here as much as I should be but we all need each other for support. No matter how far out you are you always need support. Lets all try to be more active here.

If your gallblader is bad it will not get better. Its much better to get rid of it than suffer. They do it with lap now so recovery is quick. Get it checked to be sure.

I'm new to the board, looking for some help in making a decision.  I need to get in contact with my insurance and see what my options are.  Does anyone in St Louis have a recommendation for me, and I would love the support of meeting some of you who have already gone through this process!  :)  I live and work in the South County area.

My shoulder is pretty good. I am on weekly sessions of PT now but I have to work at home every evening and it is tiresome. I just want to get it as good as possible. When my PT person says that's as good as it can get, I'll be satisfied because my range of motion is really good - just still have some pain on extending.
Thanks,
Lana

Thanks Lana. I know I gotta get it out but just tired of being cut on. My son-in-law had his out last week and he is doing remarkable. It really is a pretty simple surgery any more as long as every thing goes smoothly.

How is your shoulder doing? Are you still going to PT for it?

I had already lost mine before surgery but it seems to happen to lots of folks. The only foods I could eat much of were white chicken or turkey sliced really thin, no mayo or anything fat, no dairy. I had my worst attacks after pork products but it is a lap procedure now so not as bad as 25 years ago when I had it done open. You've about been through it though. I feel for you Nellie. I sometimes could get relief with the heat pad on my GB but it's a really painful thing.
Hugs,
Lana
