Read your profile and want you to know that you will probably be at your goal in less than one year. You lose so much in the first six months and since you are not extremely overweight you'll be amazed at how fast you get to goal.
Stay on the board because when you go back to school it will be harder for you to stay on track - remember to drink your water, take your vitamins and get all your protein in and you'll do well. I'm originally from up by St. Joseph so sort of know where you are from. Now I live by Springfield.

Hello stephanie welcome to the board.my husband moved from missouri about a year ago but we still keep in touch with people on here.they are more like family to us.
i did not have dr hornbostel but my husband andy did almost 5 years ago.i had a female doctor.my surgery was done at columbia mo hospital a little over two years ago.
my husband and i were both un healthy.having the surgery was the best thing we did for ourself.andy was having con heart f.had blood sugar problems.he does not take any meds for thoses problems any more.
i had high blood sugar high blood pressure i was on insulin i dont anything for thoses things anymore either.

Hello all the Missouri residents!
My name is Stephanie and I just had RNY surgery on Friday, June 24th. :) I was not aware of the Missouri forum until now! I am 20 years old, and had my surgery with Dr. Hornbostel (who was wonderful). I live near Kansas City, and would love to hear from anyone else that has had Dr. Hornbostel or that lives in good ole' Missouri. :) Hope you all are well!

I just had my surgery on Friday with Dr. Hornbostel! He's wonderful isn't he? Well he's in Heartland Health Hospital, and it's Plaza 2, but you have to drive around the hospital a little to find it, but it only takes an extra 2 minutes or so. His phone number is 816-271-6155.

Topic: GOOD MORNING IT IS TUESDAY
Good morning to everyone.hope you all are having a good week soo far.hard to believe this weekend coming up is the 4 of july weekend.half a year gone already.
thought i would get this started for jan.we know she is busy with all the thing's she has going for her move.
jan how did your doctor's app go for you.
the weather sure is warm here.we reached 106 degress here yesterday and that is not even the heat index.supposed to be in the 100's all week long.they are calling for a little bit of rain but not even enough to make any mud.
i just read a post from randy he and brenda have been home now for almost two weeks he said it seem's strange not driving to springfield each day.brenda is getting better each day.he has been standing in front of her and letting her hold on to him as she takes some step's.standing and walking he said is a big thing for her to do but she is doing it a little at a time.she still has pt 3 times a week.he thank's everyone for their thought's and prayers.
i better go for now have to get a shower run some errends and then go to work.everyone have a great day.we love all of you and are praying for you.hug's

So sorry I wasn't able to be at the sale. I still hate to see you go but know you are going to have a wonderful adventure. Maybe keeping the house and renting it will be the way to go. That way you could always come back. Hope you are better.

well the sale is over and sold everything but the house and the truck....which is probably a blessing .never know . God has something planned i know.
Debbie D and Barbara Scott are amazing friends....never had friends like that before in my whole life , ever.
heading to the doctor this morning. i am having some problems....both arm and hands staying numb and hurting...have to hang them down ecery few seconds to wake them up to be able to type.
swelling all over , cant get any of my shoes on. dont know what i will wear to the doctors. all my clothes aer way to tight....will let you all know what they say...cant do much more here ...love you all,.
